The best chicken strips in town! There is an inside, smoking area and outside area to sit in. The outside area is pet friendly which is super cool ! They have a gin special on tap which is delicious if you’re a gin lover like me one of the best pubs in the area !
If you looking for a chill out spot....this is the place...Nineteen69! The Menu is great and the prices even better. The meal portions are big, so you can actually share it. The drinks are very good and on the wknd, the restaurant has a Dj playing all your 80's, 90's and 2000 Jams. The atmosphere is so good.
Their bacon-loaded potato skins are served with salsa, guacamole and sour cream. A generous portion and absolutely yum!! With zucchini fries on the side .... deelish! Hein's rump steak with egg, chips and veg was totally pub grub and fantastic!!!!
Awesomeness! Quiet Thursday afternoon snacking. One of the best I've been to.
Very nice set-up, and I like the atmosphere.. The waiters/waitresses however are annoying by asking constantly for a fill-up even though it was obvious we do not need a new order just yet.. This annoyance was the worst I ever experienced in any restaurant/pub, and it's a real pity.
4 years after friends of mine had an absolutely horrible experience, I got them back here… only to have the actual manager get mad at us for changing our minds 5 seconds after he was at our table. He asked if we wanted anything, 1 person ordered a new drink, 2 others were getting ready to leave and didn’t want to order more, while the manager was away getting the drink, we convinced our other 2 friends to drink more, when the manager dropped of the first drink the other 2 asked for another as well, and in return got scolded by the manager for not asking in the first place. He did it with such arrogance and rudeness that it was clearly not the first time. When a manager scolds and lectures customers, you have a problem. My friends will not be returning, and quite frankly, that means I have no reason to return either. So disappointed. At least our waitress is fabulous.
Generally has a nice vibe. Their food is also decent. The problem I have though is that their service is honestly terrible sometimes when it is busy - I have seen people wait 30 minutes for the waiter to bring their drink. Would be nice if they had pool tables, but otherwise a lekker place to go for predrinks before a jol
Very loud and energetic vibe. Food was amazing, had the crumbed pork chops and Halloumi. Great for a meeting with friends, maybe not the best place for a romantic date as you have to almost shout so that your friends can hear you. The staff are friendly and service is good. Their card facilities was down, fortunately there are ATM's in the shopping centre.
Always a great atmosphere, alone with friends or family, djs and live music on some days others quiet and relaxing with great service, and live sports all the timeFood: 4/5
Vibrant and lively. Not really my kind of music late on a Saturday night but after a few drinks you're a lot more accommodating haha. Try their coffee - full bodied and gives you the wake up you didn't know you needed. Good place to watch sports during the week. This pub gives the whole shopping complex a lot of exposure and new patrons.
