Really disappointed with the hair colouring service I had - saw they had great reviews so decided to try them for the first time - I asked the hairstylist Chelsea to make my hair a cool blonde toned colour but more importantly to remove the ginger brassy tones. However I left with it looking more ginger than I started. I pointed this out at the end of the appointment but she told me just to use a purple shampoo which should remove the brassy red tones and if it hadn’t gone away in a week to return and fix it. I called a week later as this hadn’t changed with the purple shampoo and booked myself in for a further appointment and when I returned the hairstylist admitted she hadn’t left the toner in for long enough however they then still charged me for fixing the mistake that they had made! Furthermore they actually overcharged me had I not realised they took a deposit over the phone which was not taken off the price of my initial hair colouring appointment, and they charged me the full amount. This was then removed from the charge they used to fix my hair. Just as a side note my hair was left smelling like cough medicine although this is not as big an issue as the above.Service: Hair coloring

First time user from Bude as this salon had great reviews I had my hair blow-dryed, I’m in my 50s and never suffered from head lice even with 6 sisters growing up. Unfortunately days later after my appointment my head was itching, which I initially put down to.a new slaon and products being used. Days later as I combed my hair over the bath and saw brown bits coming out I took images and saw white head lice. I'm thoroughly appalled what appear to be a lack of sanitisation between client's. The lady seemed very busy and the experience seemed rather rushed. I’m very careful with contact near people because of Covid, and only live with my Husband who is bald. All in all a truly horrific experience, and costly trying to eradicate the issue. Something that could been so easily avoided, with simple hygienic steps you would expect. One star seems too much on this occasion.

Mike was an absolute dream, I was so busy chatting I forgot to tell him just how much I loved the cut! Me and mum appreciated it properly when I was home, the shape of the bottom was perfect!

I had my hair cut by Jaz last weekend. It was such a lovely hair cut, and everyone in the salon was very friendly.

I had my arrived on time to my appointment. I got a wonderful greeting, with a smile & offered to take my coat. This lovely lady also offered a refreshing drink or hot drink to take the chilly air away. I had my hair done by Danica, who is a phenomenal. Danica knows exactly what the needs are for all hair types & held a friendly conversation. The atmosphere is perfect quiet & calm. Nice easy music to listen to & sing along quite hard to resist the head bobbing to particular songs

My daughter 13 year old and I had our first visit last Tuesday and had a great experience. My daughter in particular, who is incedibly shy, was made to feel very comfortable and looked after. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend Nivarna and I will be using them in the future.Services: Curly hair
