Nice with tight security we did granite countertops there
If you’re thinking about moving here. DON’T! The gym hasn’t been operational in the 3 years I’ve been here. The entire complex is infested with roaches so you will have to have your place sprayed every 2 weeks just to maintain the problem. Then every night at 1:30am, there is loud music and a group of people meet and make the loudest noise so you can’t sleep! The security does nothing about the problem. All they do is tell Uber eats they can’t come inside. You will get weird charges on your statement and they will never fix what is wrong with your apartment. But yes. Do move here if you are into these types of problems. And don’t even bother sending me your copy paste response you send to everyone!!!
Security have no assistance about tenants who hire things from companies and refuse to return them. They assist tenants to be thief's. They have no backup laws incase of emergencies. Police intervention is needed to resolve matters of the securities at the complex shen they are the law. Worst ever. Don't stay here
The security guards do not have much work after 10pm because the rules are that no visitors come in after 10 as if you’re at res, so they sleep in that room of theirs. A dumb rule because we are grown adults who should be able to sign anyone in at any time. The flies are horrible and huge and green because of the garbage system, no one actually puts their trash inside the bins. I’ve been living here almost a full year and I have not seen the gym Operating.
Very Poor communication from team that stays in the complex. Lawrence Just gets his mobile number on voice-mail. Requested an issue in the morning at 11am. No communication all day.
It looked very nice
Great complex, appears to be made up of young professionals and famalies. The Google Maps App took us to a dead end street behind the complex first time we drove there. Telekom and MTN signals are week there, hope they look into that.
Urban Modern Apartments places you in the center of North Riding, within a short 5-minute stroll of popular places like Northgate Mall and Northlands Corner. Highlights at these apartments include an outdoor swimming pool, and in-room kitchens and washers/dryers. Each apartment is individually decorated and features Fiber Optic connection with digital DSTV connection channels GTU, along with different WiFi packages from different ISPs to choose from, a living room, and a dining area. In-room dining is easy with a kitchen that comes equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a stovetop. Nice touches to enhance your stay include a hydromassage showerhead. Limited housekeeping is available. Open and undercover parking is available. Security control access with 24 hour surveillance and monitoring systems.
A few month ago, moved into Northgate Height was excited and loved the view and modern setting. But over the months sadly not really happy about this complex. The complex is extremely noisy and people that make this noise get away with it. We were told no dogs in upstairs units and we have a dog that is locked in the houses and barks ALL day!! We were told only smaller dogs allowed, we have a big dog downstairs that also just barks away. Our internal communication is not professional receiving 5 to 6 messages of scolding like we are not paying and being given free accommodation. We had a lovely gym R70 per month to at least compensate the already the water, geyser boiler, electricity and refuse which to date i do not understand. If we pay R450 for refuse what do the owners of the apartments pay levies for? Anyway now the gym membership has sky rocketed. The price for a good view and modern apartment : PS no visitors after 23H00 so they can sleep at the airport or make alternative arrangements , no bring mates back from the club lol
I just wish it had more trees. I wish we could actually use the gym facility, which is always locked up. I just wish for a lot of things
