Ocean Basket Menlyn Park

I was here for lunch. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was just alright. The waiter assigned to my table was handling multiple tables at once and did not give much attention to my table. We ordered the solemate platter, which includes 18 prince prawns, calamari, calamari steak strips, mussels, rice, and chips. The only thing I did not enjoy was the calamari steak strips, they were blunt and lacked flavour.

The prawns were amazing and the quinoa. The sushi not so much. I csn understand that they were trying to be innovative but traditional sushi does it for me. Kyle gave amazing service, there was not a knife for me to butter my bread initially and he kept me informed throughoutFood: 3/5

Nice restaurant, the food is delicious and hearty. The service is very fast and relevant. The atmosphere is spacious and wide compared to a shopping mall. I recommend the house wine as a drink, it is light and delicious. Enjoy your meal.Food: 5/5

The staff know us we are regulars. The food is always great. It's this branch or nothing for us... it's so boring to visit another. We love the fact they know us.. they know the kids. Love the managers great service great food a perfect meal with good service is all you can ask for and they deliver everytime. Some waiter even know our order already....

You have not enjoyed the Sea until you have dinned at this restaurant. Sea food at it's best, prepared and served in the best way. You will love the fun from shopping around and games for adults and kids to a relaxing meal in an outdoor secure setting. Be it shopping or eating out as family or a date, this place is a perfect place to be. There is a kids play area as well under your watch as you eat.. Look no further.

If you want quality and value for money, then you won't go wrong visiting Ocean Basket Menlyn. The service is memorable. Friendly staff and clean layout. Highly recommend visiting them. They have great specials also. Wheelchair friendly and easy accessible. Ample paid parking available. Bathrooms are also clean.

Our first time at the Ocean Basket in Menlyn Mall and definitely not the last. Food was delicious and to top that, the service was excellent. All waiters and waitresses treat you as if they are serving your table. Manager was so friendly as well, checking up on all tables. Will be back soon!

I brought my wife and kids for lunch before school starts .If want to bring your family and eat alone come here. The food is not bad. They bring the food out one plate at a time with 5 min intervals. so you cant eat together. Wont come back ever.

The food was not entirely hot when served to me. Furthermore, the chips were very hard and I could not even eat some of them. If these could have been rectified then I would give this place a 5-star rating.Food: 3/5
