The Old Fisher House is a guest house in the centre of Langebaan close to the beach.

Description

We wish you a warm welcome to our guest house!

Three years ago we bought this house in Langebaan to open a small guest house.

Between 1907 and 1908 the oldest part of this house was build by fishermen.

Over the decades the house got extended and received the distinctive Art Deco gable. We have added three guestrooms around a lovely patio. The house offers all amenaties of a modern hotel in our very personal way.

When you come to Langebaan, this is the Place you want to stay! Trust me, I am a 5* Rating. Its simply amazing!Rooms: 5/5
The rooms are nice, quiet, clean and have good beds as you see them on the pictures. Peter and his team are super friendly. Moreover, they prepare a really good breakfast which leaves no wishes open. Also the location is perfect with walking distance to the kite beach and all restaurants and bars. For these reasons, I have become a regular guest and highly recommend the Old Fisher House.
Beautiful place with extremely nicely furnished and very clean rooms. Super close to the beach. The service is amazing and the owner is incredibly friendly and has lots of great travel tips. On top of this it was the best breakfast I ever had. I stayed for one night, but really would have liked to stay longer. Can only highly recommend this place, I definitely will come back :
Excellent guesthouse which is as comfortable & clean as a 4* hotel. Your host Peter will do his best to accommodate you never failed with me ! and will go way beyond helpfulness. Peter is a German guy in love with South Africa, he is also a guide and will give you all the insights and tips to make the most out of your stay in the country. The staff is very friendly and always here to help. Breakfast is a blast, I'll let you discover it ! I highly recommend.
Truly wonderful stay here. Peter our host was a delight, making you feel right at home and spoilt; from cold face towels & mango juice on arrival to chauffering us to lunch the next day. Delicious breakfast, comfy beds, free WiFi, new-looking bathrooms with rain showers, sweet little patio area and best of all literally 100 steps from the beach. Bliss.

The rooms have a minimalist lay out with the furnishings allowing maximum space, and the decor very in line with a modern feel. The guesthouse in located in surrounding nature which includes: Lagoon and Nature Reserve which allows for ample natural activities from kite surfing to hikes etc. However the greatest breakfast available in Langebaan area is served here. and if only for the breakfast the value for money to stay here is certainly justified. With the food and accommodation comes the further finesse brought to true home from home experiences. this is prevalent by the way the hosts Peter and Jean takes care of their guests. They seemed to have mastered the balance of being available as a treasure trove of local information and at the same time not be to intrusive upon the privacy of their guests. it is small things like always being aware of a guest entering the gate of the house and being ready with a refreshing towel and some cold beverage to introducing the several parts of the sumptuous breakfast by its local origins. For me this has become the guesthouse of choice whenever I visit the west coast and the one that I will without hesitation refer visitors to the west coast to.
Lovely place to stay, outstanding breakfast, and comfortable beds. Very clean.
