Great experience but beware they have such awesome stuff that it's almost guaranteed you will walk out spending more than you planned
Well stocked with a wide variety of products and in house services. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Pricing is a little above average, but the guidance and great advice is so worth it.
I bought 2 tents that's worth over R12 000 ON THE 20TH November and the tent tear after 1 use. The quality of the product is extremely inferior and as a consumer I do not expect this kind of quality and service for the amount that I've spent. I was there at the Bellville Branch regarding the tent return and exchange and the store assistance was very unprofessional and gave minimal assistance in this process and simply gave me an accuse to blame the defect and refused to assist with any form of exchange or store credit for the defective product. I'm extremely upset and disappointed with the buying process and aftersales assistance, I need this matter to be addressed ASAP!
The shop is clean well organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices tend to be bit high as expected from these kind of shops
Very disappointed in the lack of responsibility Outdoor Warehouse takes for the products they sell. We bought the top range inflatable mattress #intex only to find that there was a hole in it without it ever being used. Tried to take it back / exchange it, but management just said that they don't take back inflatables, we have to take it up with Intex the manufacturer. Fact is that we bought the unit from Outdoor Warehouse, not Intex, and that we are an Outdoor Warehouse customer, but sadly the manager could not see that. Even worse, Outdoor Warehouse wanted to charge me hundreds of Rands to repair it. While I have the insight to understand that some people may take advantage of inflatable warranty / repair policies, apparently Outdoor Warehouse don't make the same effort to consider their customer's specific circumstances / complaints.

Well stocked, friendly knowledgeable staff, consistent. May be a little pricey but always have what You need.
If you need any camping gear, literally anything, they will have it on display that you can go and check out. Very nice feature is all the erected tents on the second floor to give you a much better understanding of its setup
Beautiful and big store with lots of stock available. Unfortunately I feel that they clearly don’t cater for the budget minded, simply put, nothing is reasonably priced, not pegs, mugs, jerry cans, led strips, recovery gear, knives. You can find probably everything camping related here for any trip, but prepare your plastic!
Over price and not really friendly service if you get some one to jelp you. Wont waist my time to ho their again
