During the first week of classes the class roster changed 7 times. Some of the lecturers decided to follow the old rosters while others followed the new rosters. There was poor communication to students and we missed several classes in the first week due to class clashes due to lecturers following different versions of the roster. First exam results blocked due to finance but the proforma invoice amount we used to pay for the years fees does not agree to the statement. VERY VERY SAD that an institution of higher learning cannot even get something as simple as a roster correct and then finance holds students to ransom for their incompetency and withhold exam results. In hindsight should rather have picked one of the other universities.
I just want to say coming to Eduvos was one of the best choices I ever made. The lecturers really take their time with students, help the students understand the content, get good makes, it’s really smooth sailing. Not to mention our block system which makes life so much easier especially with university work load
Eduvos Midrand is a very modern upmarket University with SAQA certification. Registration of my daughter for B. Physcology was a smooth process. Staff very orginised and professional. Naome, Dalene and Linda sorted our application out promptly. Thank ladies for the amazing welcome . Mr Gounder
Best School one would want to find yourself in
Worst service ever.I’d rather apply to a public university where they actually help their students instead of yelling at them when they need help with something.Especially at the offices, absolutely terrible
School had poor performance, they locked me out of my account due to their own error so I couldn't take tests or submit work, they always claim to be in meetings when you require assistance. The communication in that school is poor. The teachers have attitude problems, one of them was a psychopath. Had to drop my degree and leave.
Great vibe and wonderful facility. Lots of programmes to choose from and fees are affordable. They have bursaries on their website as well. Super sustainable.
Would not recomend!!! We pay allot of money just to be inconvenienced. Ngwana morena dont come and waist your time here hle. Read the reviews these are students that have put their future in this institution and this institution let them down.
A wonderful way to train our future leaders.... Excellent
Pearson Institute of Higher Education was bought by Eduvos at the end of 2020 and the transition was completed early this year. My child was already studying at the Institution before the purchase. We had our frustrations with Pearson but our frustrations are worse with Eduvos administration. This year things got worse after the purchase by Eduvos. The tuition fees increase is puzzling. The sad part for me after paying those ridiculously high amounts is the service that we get. For an expensive institution like Eduvos you expect good quality services but alas it is not there. The online registration process for 2021 was very disorganised. We struggled to get hold of the so-called student advisor allocated to our child until we called one of the lecturers who advised us to write an email explaining what was happening. Our child was then allocated a new student advisor who partially helped us but again did not complete the process fully. We lost count of the number of calls and emails that we sent the student advisor. My husband and I then decide to drive to Midrand campus. We thought we were just finishing off what we started only to be told we were starting afresh because they had charged us a module which our child was supposed to be exempted because she had done it the previous year. We were then told that they now need a 30% deposit of the whole year's tuition upfront because we are foreign nationals. We are foreign nationals that have been living and working in the Republic of South Africa for over 15 years. That child we were registering went to school here in South Africa and has a Permanent Residence status. So my question is why the 30% deposit upfront? What is it about foreign nationals that makes the Institution demand that much upfront? What if the foreign nationals are living and working in South Africa legally, what is the institution saying? Why isn't this 30% upfront deposit charged to South African citizens? After paying the very high fees you still get substandard services. There are no clear communication channels for parents. When our children have queries no one entertains them. The admin staff and the student advisors are very unprofessional, arrogant and incompetent. Parents are professionals in their own fields and I think they deserve to be handled with some level of professionalism. The finance office needs to do proper record keeping. It is very frustrating to get numerous calls from the same office by different people saying different things about one account. May they do their due diligence before picking up the phone and bullying parents. Some of the parents will have already signed acknowledgement of debt but are still harassed. The Institution should be careful not to push away their clientele by not addressing these pressing issues.
