I would recommend this if you don't want to drive to far 80min north of Centurion. Depending on what you want you may find something to suite your taste. There is not much entertainment on site - just enough to keep kids busy for some time. A medium sized cold pool, trampoline, some swings and lawn chess. There are about 20 camp sites with basic clean ablution facilities. A number of different sized chalets/units ranging from twelve sleeper to four sleeper are dotted around the site. If you want a chilled experience ask for accommodation further from the pool area. They have a shop supplying very basic necessities like wood, ice and cool drinks - no bread.
Very close to Pretoria. A lovely, relaxing venue. Lots of very good activities for kids. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are large and comfortable and we'll maintained. You can see plenty of game from your porch. Also quite a bit of place for caravans and tents and the ablution facilities looks good. Recommended.
We had a lovely stay in the PepperTree house unit. A tranquil setting and only a short drive from Jhb. We could see sable and impala from our veranda in a separate game area on the property. Spacious, clean and tidy, well equipped accommodation. Come prepared with bug repellent also provided in the unit. A lovely swimming pool, swings, large outdoor chess board, volleyball sand pit and jungle gym for the kids. Will definitely be back!
Its not a good place to stay. Wr stayed in a two bedroom with one bathroom in the main bedroom. You have to take turn to use the shower. The second room was small with two bunk bed that sleep 4 people. It was a small for a family of 6.
A short distance away from Gauteng for a self catering weekend break or to sleep over when attending a wedding near Bela Bela. Fully furnished with braai facilities and pool. Camping site as well.
Messed up our booking, the unit inside was dirty. It could of been one of the best getaways we've had but for those issues that are just unforgivable.
We had a awesome weekend So wonderfull to experience a good well kept garden aswell as the accommodation good and clean Will be back! !
Overall it is nice for families especially with small kids but the units need regular maintenance
Joel is absolutely great. Service with a smile even brings you a braai when needed and cleans them.
