Be exceptionally careful when buying there. The puppy I got had the parvo the day I bought but had no idea. By then it was too late and it died. Subsequently I heard from 3 other people whom experienced the same heartbreak 4days prior to mine. I called the pet store to advise them about the issue and they should consider disinfecting the area to prevent further loss of life. I was treated with hostility and aggression. Since they don't care about pet lives, I best warn potential customers.
I see all these negative comments about the staff, while i cant comment on that as we had go service i can say that this is probably the best stocked and most interesting pet shop i have been to in a very long time, there were all sorts of wierd and wonderful creatures that i have never seen in pet shops before. Was a great experience. I will definately go back again.
After phoning and inquiring about one of their products, we went there to inspect it. We were not allowed to open it and were forced to buy it. When we realised that the product was incorrect, we returned to exchange the product. The owner insisted to charge a handling fee for something they supplied incorrectly. When I complained, the owner sweared at me and chased me out of the shop. I would not reccomend supporting them .
Earlier this week I bought some toys for my 7 week old yorkie puppy I just to find out that they have pavro in the store they hardly ever clean in there I heard someone say that they did a rack test of the toys and all of them are contaminated with pavro there were 9 dogs dead and they didn't close the store for the public they left it open I would never go back there because of the animal neglect
Very disappointed. Although they have a great variety, prices are higher than other local Pet shops. Can't swipe under a R100. Staff tries too sell you products that are overpriced and not even the right product for your need. The owner is rude and mean towards customers and staff. Fish are kept in filthy and overcrowded aquarium and mixing species that should not be mixed. Bought a pup there just to take him to the vet the next day, he died a few days later because of cat flew he picked up at the shop, owner doesn't take any responsibility. The vet informed us that this is not the first time he was brought sick pets from that store THIS SHOP NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN !
Bought a puppy on Friday, by today the dog is so sick that we don't know if it will make it through the night. Apparently the dog has Parvo. They sell sick animals
I got my girl a puppy but 2 days later it was sick went to the vet and they said the dog had 'kat griep' they lied when they said the dog had it vaccinations.
Very nice pet shop that has very friendly staff members. Pets are sold here, and also pet accessories. Has a wide variety of pets on offer spiders, reptiles, cats, dogs, and parrots.
Always a jol to go there. Animals is well kept, clean cages, healthy and I never had a bad experience. Will definitely see me plenty more times. The owners definitely need an award for their great service and love for animals
Super efficient and friendly service! The sales lady was incredibly helpful, competent, friendly and understanding! 10 out of 10!
