Phalaborwa Safari Park

We spent 2 nights in the Forever resort. The whole resort is well maintained, the ablutions and scullery very clean. We were impressed that the staff kept us up to date with the unrest on the exit roads out of Phalaborwa ...which meant we stayed in the camp and,as the protest continued into the late morning we spent another night,the staff very accommodating.

Always good service it was very hot so we enjoy the ‍ pool.The ablution is always clean Nearby activities: Next to the Kruger National Park so the setting is great and also affordable

Booking Online Way is it not possible to view and book accommodation online anymore ? Way do we need apps ? I do not own a phone to download every app that is pushed into our faces. We are going need computers on our backs to get all the apps !!

The place has electricity issues. We spent the Saturday with weak power. The aircons were not working i assume because of their power problem and it was soo hot plus mosquitos. The rooms were dirtydusty . The place could really be better if the management and the workers there take care of it and fix the electricity.

I've visited here a couple of times; once out of season, totally peaceful, hearing lions roaring at night... which gave me the completely wrong impression of the campsite; Once in season, with the camp packed, with no room with which to swing the family cat... and where we were subjected to free music as supplied by some form of concession campers... which has given me a completely different view of the camp. I suppose the lesson here is that you must take the rough and the smooth when camping. There will be times when there is going to be the inconsiderate fugglies... and unfortunately times are tough and the camp staff don't want to hurt their income by taking action. Last time I was here, I would have rated this camp a 5, based on that memory I gave it a rating of 3... And if I come back, I must first let time blur the memory of this stay.
