Hylton has been trading in Westville for 23 years, having opened its doors to the local community as the first Pick n Pay franchise store in the country.“It was the first Pick n Pay supermarket to open in the province back in 1972,” says Hylton, “And then it became the first franchise store in 1994.There have been many generations of families that have grown up shopping with us, and continue to do so.”This is a true Family Supermarket, with his wife Debbie working alongside and their son, Ross who took over managing this new store at the Westville Junction Centre, opposite WGHS, after matriculating from Westville Boys High."

Dropped my card holder with my ID, drivers, bank card, gym card & some cash. It was returned with everything in it. Thank You to the staff/management for storing it away for me. I do most my shopping here & it’s always generally a very positive experience.
Did some shopping and tried to withdraw cash instead of going to an ATM. Cashier said he had no cash, he asked 2 other people and they didn't either. Instead of calling for a manager and arranging cash from the back office, they were fine with me leaving unhappy.
This store doesn't do the Pick n Pay specials. They don't stock the items and don't bother to advertise them. Rather go to the Puck n Pay at Village Mall, it's cheaper.

Bought a fruit scone today thinking it was baked by Pick ‘n Pay but it was a panbake product with p n p sticker
Wonderful birthday specials. Warm and friendly staff. Cleanest store I've been in lately. A very pleasant shopping experience.
Great shopping experience. All Covid-19 protocols are observed by all members of staff. I like the security guard more; he makes sure that if he missed you when you enter, he will call you so that you should not miss the chance to have your hands sanitized. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wasn't sure if Pick N Pay offers bus booking services and the lady who assisted me was very patient with me and the system which gave her a real attitude as it was slow and could not give her information I needed. Thanks for for making my day
This pnp lacks management. Their staff do as they please. Even after approaching the manager, nothing gets done! Staff either smoke up a storm or make hell of a racket in the loading area without any consideration for the flats behind. When they are loading goods it sound like they are throwing items into the store. We still await a response about staff playing soccer in the loading area. Staff are arrogant and rude!
Neat and I have always experienced friendly customer service.
Typical medium-sized P 'n P. Fruit at the stores is no of the standard of Woolworths, so it doesn't last. Otherwise convenient outlet, with bottle store attached. I believe the P ' n P on Jan Hoffmeyer has the same owner. Actually prefer that store - larger and wider range.
