What a pleasure and delight to deal with Lanette and her staff. We hosted my niece's Bridal Shower at Vintage on Main, yesterday, and the best decision we made. Lanette really went the extra mile, responded to requests, kept us informed, and ever so helpful. The Venue is an oasis of tranquility, well maintained, CLEAN!! and conveniently located.
What a lovely stay my daughters, doggy and I had for two weeks Everything was exactly as advertised, even better! We will be forever grateful! Rooms: 5/5

Very pretty place. Stayed there for 5 nights in Pretoria recently. Comfortable bed. Lovely big kitchen. Swimming pool available. No TV bit we didn't need it as we were busy anyway. Lovely gardens which can be used for tea meetings/small private weddings etc.
Wonderful place, inviting and friendly staff. Stayed here for one night and I'd gladly stay again. Cottage is very clean, aircon included. Includes a kitchenette kettle, toaster, mini oven and stove, fridge/freezer and crockery/cutlery. Small lounge area with TV. Small table for dining included as well. Honestly a lovely place. Gardens are neat and the parking is easily accessible. Vintage on Main 205... Value for money, honestly.
Not sure if 1 star is even deserved really. This establishment is not even a real establishment. The word establishment means that the place has amenities that will allow it to have a foundation which will enable it to function according to its intended purpose in this case, a hospitality establishment. Hospitality is not a word you use on the same sentence with vintage on main. Of all the establishments i've been, this was by far the waste of money and time. They have no consideration for their customers. No forsight on what is required to satify the hospitality part od the business. The room we were occupying does not have a soap, 1 toilet rollno back up. The heating system, in the Jhb cold, is non existence. The lack of consideration is unmatched. You are wiken up at 4h00 in the morning by a washing machine noise and there seem to be no overseer on sight, to ensure that customers are comfortable. There's even an instruction in the toilet of how tou must try not to dirty the towels which was new to me. So, me and the wife decided not to even touch the shower towels. I used 1 face towel. I ended up booking at The Sheraton Hotel and left a paid for booking for a day.
Vintage On Main is the perfect place to get ready for a wedding. We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed getting our hair and makeup done on the patio. Thank you Vintage On Main.
