Pits Restaurant

The first words that come to mind is it looks old. The design is that of hotels built in the late 80's to early 90's. The paint of the building is faded and the parking lot's parking stripes is almost gone. I have stayed in higher end lodges for far less the price. Came back from work to loadshedding there is no backup power in the rooms not even a loadshedding bulb so the guests can at least have lights. Rooms: Double and single beds available. No aircons so my co workes kept complaing about how cold the room was, I on the other hand slept quiet good as my room was cozy. The beds are firm and the bedding new and neat. Nice large table in the room giving space if you need to do some work while in the lodge. I had a fridge in my room and it worked. My co workers did not have a fridge, tea, coffe provided, kettle worked in both rooms, the shower was clean, worked well and water could be regulated to right tempreture.

Worst service we received, booked a conference centre but the receptionist kept bothering us saying we are making noise. The manager was polite on the call but the receptionist treated us as if we didn't pay and she'd switch off the lights while we were busy with our meeting.Service: 1/5

Enjoyed the stay and the meals. They have no back up to loadshadding.

The location is easy to find. Friendly staff. Their rooms were clean and comfortable beds though the duvets got stains ,towels were not enough for 2 people. Could use a microwave in the rooms.overall Is a nice place I would still go back again.Rooms: 3/5

The worst place u can ever book. The rooms r spacious but the service is the worst. The plugs are out of reach, the shower doesn't have pressure & the reception staff need training on how to communicate with guests......a waste of money if u ask me.Rooms: 1/5
