Port lotniczy Grand Central

Small and mostly private airport. Don't think there are any international flights. Another of flight schools and training. Not much to do. Small coffee shop / restaurants but otherwise very little recreational facilities. Clean and tidy. Parking can be an issue. Need to park outside

First visit to this airport today. It's strange how such a huge runway and supporting infrastructure could be missable all these years. I've driven in New Road countless times and old PTA Road but for the life of me never knew there was an airport right there. The airport is very nice, and the kind lady at the helpdesk assisted me in finding the restaurant with the best English and courtesy. The restaurant is superb with great staff. I was visiting a pilot and the stories he shared about air control and the fire brigade made it clear that this is one of the best airports that is open to the public here in Gauteng. Parking was R15 for less than two hours, you can tap to pay upon exit.

An airport that houses good restaurants and very affordable event places. I noticed there are just small planes here and I asked if the airport is for just Jets and Helicopters? I learnt its more for trainee pilots, I wish I was there when they are training. Noticed very friendly staff from the gate to the Harvard Cafe I was there for. A portable and cute Airport in the neighborhood, there is much more to do here.

Nice friendly airfield. I have flown there, a lot, but many years ago. It is very different now, but I enjoyed being there after an absence of many years. I was living in Lagos, that is why I did not visit for so long.

Spotless and excentily Managed by Sarah the CEO, Restaurant a little pricey but food is good. Packing is never a problem

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. They took time to bring our orders but we were satisfied. I think the delay was caused by the number of people there since many companies were having year end functions.

Service was super excellent. Loved every second being there.

Small, quiet and nice airport for flying lessons. Its got a good restaurant as well.

Friendly and efficient staff at reception and the refuelling point. Really loved the friendly, effective chat from ATC!

From entry to, information to offices, to runway and all over inside ... everybody and I mean everybody greets, are professional and friendly. Also, the neatest and cleanest place I've been in years. And then only on exit wat the gate security less friendly. None the less, visit this unique place and experience.
