Potchefstroom Pick N Pay

Situated in the centre of town, walking distance from where I live. Me and my friend went there very quickly, but got everything we wanted. The shop was fairly quiet for a Saturday. Always nice to go there. Neat and clean. Products well-priced, and great variety. Got some good specials. Was first in line at the cashier and was attended to quickly and efficiently. Thank you for the good service.

Went there to buy milk and sugar. The cue at the till was miles long with the cashiers having absolutely no sense of urgency. Went to the kiosk, which was unmanned. Stood at the empty kiosk for 10 minutes without being helped. Asked an employee if they call the person who is supposed to be servicing the kiosk. After 2 employees seemed lost when considering my simple request, it took a third employee to tell me that the kiosk is in fact closed. No sign to notify customers that the kiosk is closed. This was at 11:15 so it makes no sense that the kiosk is closed. From my interaction with the employees this store and its staff seem very unorganised. This type of "no-care", "the customer can wait all day" attitude in complaint resolution really annoyed me. There is absolutely no sense of urgency in this store. It does make sense considering 90% of the customers in-store seemed over the age of 65. If they want to cater to any customer under 65, they will need to step up their game. VERDICT: if you don't have the whole day to get basic items go and shop somewhere else.

Good place to shopping with pick n pay

I love Pick N Pay so much but my only problem it doesn't have an instore or shelves for Krisp Kreme not so nice

Always busy because staff can be very uninterested with helping customers and working through the lines Store is well stocked

I bought stew meat from the store and it had maggots in. Not the first time I have bought off meat from this store. Wouldn't recommend

More than enough parking , got all the products I needed Nice Bar close to this shopping centre

Like Pick and pay cheap corner go have a look. Even try their pies chees griller

I like the store and usually enjoy shopping there, but this specific experience was poor. I got wors-rolls from the stall at the entrance of the shop, and was promised a 2 minute period, but I waited half an hour for something that is supposed to be ready on demand.
