My Aim is to demystify beauty regimens for the average person and help them realise how simple looking beautiful can be. By offering my clients gained knowledge about beauty, that goes beyond just the understanding of products but to master the science of being beautiful.
While most people know me as Pree the MUA, Preesbb has fast become my alias over the past year. Im a skilled and independent Beautyt, Hair and Make-Up artist with over 1000 hours of print and audiovisual media work. I have worked with Drum magazine, Urban Brew Studios, Accessways Production, Top Billing and various clientele, providing me with a wealth of experience in the beauty industry. With training on varied skin, hair and make-up products, I have successfully managed a Make-Up department for a production company and trained staff.
I completed 3 years of a Somatology diploma with exposure to spa treatments where I learnt about team-work and client service. The knowledge gained set me apart in my understanding of the effects of beauty products on the human body. My passion for make-up led me to pursue this field instead where I was nominated the best student by Face2Face Beauty College and came in the top 5 at the 2012 Beauty Expo Make-Up competition. I have enhanced my skills through an additional 1year certificate in hairdressing and have been an asset to my clients where I offer a combination of services.
I pursued freelance work in addition to formal employment since it allowed a more varied and exciting degree of self-expression. This required hard work and dedication, which has grown my personal brand and enabled me to pursue freelance work on a full-time basis. I have acquired valuable skills in marketing, product sourcing and finance as a result. Social media promotions are a powerful tool that I explore extensively and have initiated a series of on-camera make-up tutorials to showcase my passion and share the knowledge that I have acquired.
To date, I own and manage my own Beauty Salon, Pree's Beauty Boudoir, where I am able to put together all my skills and expertise to serve clients with not only value you for money treatments but but the necessary health and beauty knowledge they need to follow beyond the Salon.
