Vuyo the sales rep who communicated 1st on 16 August 2022 to me really was the most helpful soul I met. He was persistent passionate rep who really didn't mind me being difficult and undecided. He took all my calls he returned my calls and he kept his professional attitude with high integrity, morals and values of a good sales rep. Undecided he made it happen for me. But unfortunately today 26/08/22 when I went personally to fetch my camera and lenses he was not there as it is his day off but the woman sales rep who assisted me could only see my joy. And happiness. Thank you Cameraland for the amazing service. Look forward to doing more business in the future with yous
Bought a camera battery, battery arrived faulty. The store confirmed that brand of battery is giving them a lot of problems. They asked for my banking details to do a refund as they have no extra stock...2 months later Im STILL waiting for a refund and they just ignore all my emails.
Would not recommend, rather do yourself a favour and look for another camera shop. Bought a brand new camera from cameraland, got home to find out the camera doesn't work then had to drive all the way back to replace the camera. When replaced the camera I asked for a lense which was promised in 2 days which was not delivered and wasted time and petrol! I then drove all the way back to get told I will be told when the lense arrives and I still have not heard a thing about the lense . During the whole experience I never heard one sorry or compensation totally unacceptable. Cameratek in Randburg is much better .
I called Kameraz in Rosebank first because their service is better but they didn’t have stock of NikonP950 generic battery so I turned to Cameraland as second choice. They had stock at R799, but I had to ask.Kameraz offered & were R695. Anyway I bought it. I wanted 2 in case I need back as I’m going overseas so on my out of Sandton City I passed Foto First ….. EXACTLY the same product at R499!!!! Seriously Cameraland!! I actually bought the Nikon P950 from you but you definitely won’t be seeing my hard earned money again.
I had a great experience at the shop. I was helped by Sibonelo, I liked the fact that he was very patient and helped me to decide which camera to buy. Definitely recommend Cameraland.

About 2 months ago, I needed a camera for graduation. I had problems with the payment. We were communicating via calls and emails everyone was patient, friendly and understanding. Payment went through and in 2 days I had received my camera in time for the graduation. I'm really grateful for everyone who helped out. I highly recommend cameralandsandton. You won't regret it
