The owners,Denise and David, were extremely friendly and helpful. They had useful suggestions on how to pass your time in Sutherland. Accommodation is cozy and quaint and every effort is made to assist with the unpredictable loadshedding schedule. I will go again
Very comfortable guest house in Sutherland.lovely hostess so helpful with making bookings for us and advice .happily supplied stuff for a braai...made tea after star viewing. Certainly went out of their way to make us welcome. !!
If you are looking for a spotless, charming and cosy place to stay it definitely is for you. Denise and David are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. It felt like being at home. Cant wait to go back. The stars at night are amazing and sutherland is a great little townRooms: 5/5
Denise and David, love them too bits, awesome couple. Very, very enjoyable stay when I first visited Sutherland. I would most certainly recommend Primrose Cottage. 5 stars just isn't enough to rate this place.
Our hosts, Denise and Dave, went above and beyond to make our stay truely outstanding. We arrived as 4 muddied frozen cyclists and left fed, watered AND with clean dry kit!! That, people, is above and beyond!!!! Breakfast and coffee were great too.
Denise and David were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed and advised us on everything we can do etc. We stayed 2 nights and had a marvelous time. The room was equipped with everything we needed and Denise made sure we stayed warm. The breakfast was amazing and just what one needed to kickstart your day. Will definitely stay with them again if ever in that area. Would like to visit when it is snowing. Thank you soooo much for every thing.
Denise and David were exceptional hosts. The home and rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast they served us the next morning was sumptuous and plentiful! A delight to stay at!

A perfect place to base yourself for star gazing. Denise and David go out of their way to make you feel at home and helped us with our bookings. My second visit and I will be back!
