I purchased a 12v motorcycle AGM battery from this company, 6 February 2023. Invoice PSI0117463 By the 27 May 2023, this battery has totally failed. I wrote an email to this company, querying if this was normal for a 'superior' AGM vs lead acid, to fail so soon. Naturally, indicative of a 'got your money - stuff you' attitude, no reply! I followed up on my email the 31 May 2023 and still not decent enough of PROBE for a courteous reply to be told to probably 'go fly a kite!' Bottom line - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, YOU WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE!

Inferior quality batteries. Lasted just 2 yrs and 2 months and needed to be replaced . Total rubbish! Rather stick to renowned brands people. Generally a battery should last 4-6 years as was my experience with Willard batteries.Services: Battery service

I've just spent half a million Rand on an office and a home solar system with Probe Group under their renewables brand, Sinetech. I'm holding both companies to account for the disgusting experience received. Both installations have been nothing short of a nightmare from beginning to end - a saga that has still not come to a close on my residential installation despite escalating the various issues to Rick Rovelli, their holding company's CEO, who promised me it was going to improve. The issues are just far too numerous to mention here, all I can say is that I have dealt with multiple sales staff, multiple technicians, multiple electricians under their banner over the past 8 months and the problem of shocking service, broken promises and in the latest case, faulty hardware that has not been fixed or replaced, appears to be institutional. I understand that load shedding has created a lot of demand and pressure on companies like this, but they have simply not adapted to the situation to address these problems. I could not recommend Sinetech any less. I'm posting this review to help other people in a similar situation, being forced to look at alternative energy supply under duress, to avoid the carnage that is this company and the draining experience of trying to beg them for service and results. Please also be advised that Sinetech is part of Probe Group so both should be avoided.

Nazreen from sales really knows her stuff. I was surprised by her in-depth knowledge of the various starters and part codes. I also got the best price on my starter motor as well

Avoid!! I cannot see how they can be rated above 4. Perhaps their sales delivery is good but hope and pray you don't need their after sales service. I gave in 2 3.5kWh "super capacitor" modules for testing and repair. 4 months later and no progress on this issue. Launched a complaint, no one has contacted me after a month. I had a problem with my OC Power inverter - not the suppliers fault. Long story short, I phoned Grant at 6:05 pm on a Friday night. He answered promptly, called me back on a video call. I phoned to confirm that you had stock of the special solar battery terminals, which the sales department acknowledged that they had stock. I drove there all the way from Nigel only to find that there was no stock. Waste of my time and fuel.

At short notice urgently needed a new battery and staff all very helpful and arranged and fitted a new battery. From entering the property the Security Officer was polite and took temperaþures on entry and welcomed us to Probe. Very clean offices and Covid protocols all followed. Friendly and professional experience. Would recommend and will definitely go back.
