Description

Queens Park in Kimberley contains many fine trees, shrubberies and fountains, a fine old face-brick Tennis Club pavilion. The park was created in 1874 as the Kimberley Public Gardens and soon became a popular venue. Activities included weekend concerts by the Philharmonic Society’s Brass band in the bandstand (now dismantled), cricket matches, and swimming in the pool. The park is just ok not really bad. It needs more colorful flowers. The playground for kids only has less than 5 games. It's good for family outings and It gets very crowded on weekends.

Very clean and peaceful.the caretakers are also friendly..it felt safe chilling there. Only flowers seems not well taken care of

The place isn't bad at all, only problem there aren't any working public toilets, none at all. For both male and female

Nice and quiet, only problem is street kids that rob people. They need to up there security

There are no public toilets which are in good working condition or even not there at all

Well i have a solution for this problem we have a guy in this area that is will to help with the tress and basic maintenance of the park even the removal of of unwanted rubble basic site clearing

Good place to chill but the problem is toilets

Great chillaz for friends and family  Picnic area: Good green grass and lots of shade fresh air

We need Apollo lights and toilets in a good condition..please maintain the park properly

Queens park is not what its used to be.  Its always dirty a d full of litter. People are drinking accessivly and in the park and litters. Its not safe at night with no lights. Its unsafe to drive past the main entrance because people a driving like maniac's. Please let's work together to bring back our park
