Food and staff is always amazing. Restrooms and everything overall is well kept and clean. To my knowledge, everything is made in-house and fresh with a great selection of food and drink. Wifi and charging ports available.
I was there on ladies night last night, service and food was top notch. Sarah was an excellent waitress, very friendly and efficient. I do however feel that the restaurant is in desperate need of a face lift, the carpet looks like it hasn't been changed in 10 years, definitely need new chairs or just refurbish the current ones. Colours of the restaurant are outdated, very dark and unwelcoming. Looking forward to seeing some change next time the girls and I are around.
Quincy has a nice delicate little atmosphere. It is often overlooked, yet there food is great, they have a decent bar and the staff are very capable. It would hold its own as staff function venue and even a good date spot. Recommend for a nice chilled dinner out
Wonderful reception. Service was quick and we were kept informed of what was going on. For instance we were informed of the slight delay before the food was ready. The ladies who were serving were robust and wore beautiful smiles all the time. The food was tasty and healthy.
Comes well recommended by a number of friends. My experience has been a bit patchy. Big helpings at the expense of finesse. More is not always better. Very friendly staff and all sorts of daily specials. A quiet pub with cold beer. Plenty of regulars.
There was only 1 waitress with 5 tables. At 16:30 25/02/2017. There were not enough sources. Only 2 sources. The table we sat at was dirty, the floor was dirty, the chairs were dirty. The cloths that the waiters hung on her waist were dirty. It was just disgusting. As soon as a group of white elderly ppl entered the place there were more waitresses, even management assisted which I found very odd. Where was the manager when this waitress had 5 tables?! I used to enjoy this place and the food but today I was very disappointed, to think I assured my friend that I was with that it is the best place in town. I am never coming back!
Good sit down restaurant. Good wholesome tasty food. Nice atmosphere. Just a word of advice is if you don't like cats then don't sit outside as the cats come up to you or come sit next to you..... Stray cats
Had the chicken schnitzel with chips, sides of creamed spinach & onion rings. Spinach was super fresh and pepper sauce super smooth - best meal in ages. Service also excellent. Highly recommended.
A lovely restaurant with a lot of atmosphere. The food is a variety of steaks, salads, pasta, great deserts and a range of other items. They have a ladies night when the prices are very good and a pub quiz night which is very popular and well know in pietermaritzburg.
This place is a tad expensive but the good is very good! I remember having a dorado line fish there and it was incredible. It has a very laid back feel as does the entire sleepy hollow of pmb and you can just relax there, enjoy a cup of coffee or some nice rooibos with honey... expect great service and very warm and friendly people waiting on your every need. Enjoyed it! And guess what i still frequent when i am in the area!
