Rani's Fish Shop

I'm Sad, just arrived after an hour travel back home to find out that my meal was not what I expected. I was told that I would get 2 fish with the large order however only one was packed for me medium. Seems I was short changed. I was in contact with the lady at the till before I placed my order to avoid such mishaps as this was my very first time coming to this establishment. The fish that I did receive was well fried, and fresh. It was accompanied by a generous portion of chips however the chips were not the best quantity. This could be seen from the numerous black spots and over grown sprouts. It didn't taste good at all. I believe that an attention to detail approach should be taken with every order received. This experience could have gone so much differently for me if such was followed. I wish the establishment every success and hope that my review will allow them the opportunity to fine tune areas of the takeaway experience. People should try this establishment, make sure of your order and double check once received or before you set off.

Shop needs a revamp in side and outside. Fish is good. All refrigerators to be changed. Disinfecting needs to be done between customers. No barriers at cashier. Bought crabs recently on 04/08/2022. They were stale but sold as fresh. Confirmed by sales lady. Cooked and it was stale. Very sick the next day. Not ever buying crabs again from this shop. The fish and chips take away was . Fresh salmon too.

Absolutely the "Freshest" most tastiest fish daily. Each Day fresh meals are prepared, very friendly staff. Carbs and Prawns are are available daily. Definitely a thumbs up 100%

Amazing joint best fish and chips I've ever tasted The seafood varieties is amazing I would say it's worth spending to have such fresh and quality foods Not forgetting about the friendly customer service these people give

1st time visiting the shop. I was assisted by a very friendly gentleman. Tried their take away fish and chips. Good value. Shop is small,, so distancing proved a challenge.clearly very popular, as it was very busy and got chatting with a fellow shopper who told me that it is always very busy. Overall, a pleasant experience. My very best wishes to them. Thank you

Tasty food with affordable prices. The portions are a great size compared to other places. Just wish that their sauce amounts were larger. There is a place outside to eat as well which is nice.

Their service is 100 percent there is nothing to complain about fast,passionate,cleanliness mmmmh ja sweeeet

Fish and chops excellent, calamari too...portions a bit small for the price especially the calamari....excellent chip seasoning

I ordered the fish and chips which was average compared to other places in KZN that ive eaten at. Chips were not good at all. Stay away from the calalmari. My wife said she will go back for the fish biryani but i personally wont eat from this place again. Both times that i went to this place the lady behind the counter who takes payment was quite rude and arrogant which is another reason I will not buy from here again
