Rapid Rail Police Unit, Provincial Headquarters, East London

Took me an hour and some minutes just to only certify and complete an affidavit form. Very poor service from these police officers. Wouldn't recommend anyone to come to this police station.

Wherever you go with our government institutions it's a mess. A police personnel when opening a simple case of fraud n theft they take 2,5 hours. She writes one word and chats with the colleague. We really fail when it comes to serving people

The qeue to certify and get affidavit signed didn't move for 2 hours because officers are talking with each other instead of attending to the people in qeue. Officers come and go, we are just standing. As soon as the line started moving again they were done with all of us in less than 15 minutes. What was the 2 hours of stand still for? Very very poor service from this station.

I dont even know where to begin to thank the team that assisted me and my husband in fleet street..from recovering our vehicle ,to assuring us about everything. Im super grateful

Very unprofessional, rude, lazy and incompetent. Been struggling to get an accident report for the whole year, the insurance company have closed the claim and reopened it three times already, just to get an accident report on an accident reported 01 of January. Had to drive from Upington to East London just to obtain the report and I am back in Upington without the report. Still trying to get the report as advised that I must call the number they gave me but there is no answer, South Africa is not going anywhere.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. The employees are drunk with the power of being law enforcement civil servants. The attitudes of the employees there are that of laziness and unwillingness to genuinely help. I have been there multiple times and received the same sub-par assistance. I honestly cannot believe that our taxes go to such a poorly run government institution. I cannot be shocked at the amount of crime and civil unrest that occurs in East London if that is the standard of law enforcement we have. If you are planning on going to this precinct for something, then I advise you either go to another station or practice counting to 10 because you will be you inevitably be incredibly frustrated at one point or another. In summary I would rather visit a sewage plant then have to deal with the incompetence of that station again.

I need help I'm in serious problem people wanna kill me

I am so hurt angry and ashamed of the way I was addressed today by the rude arrogant policeman who said that he will not help me i must go I never heard of an original bank statement I'm very much hurt he said he will not help me because i don't have a original bank statement I tried showing him my bank card he said he will beat me if I don't leave

The police does not care my husband was mugged on the 11 January 2018 they stole his phone and other stuff a case was opened and case no given a sergeant was assigned to investigate the case had one call to ask for the phones details since it was a contract phone he never came to get it never heard again from them today I got told the docket has been closed what must we do if they don't do their jobs
