Regional Government JUSTICE North Eastern Divorce Court

There is no help or guidance for the general public at this court. You are sent from one to the next , up and down because most of the staff working with the divorces have no clue how to actually do their job. An UNcontested divorce took 3 years at this court, due to the staff loosing the memo received from the family advocate. Then we had to pay for the sheriff to serve the exact same divorce papers again,because by the time the 2nd memo from the family advocate was received the time had lapsed after the serving of the first divorce papers. The incompetence of staff working with this process costs the public money and at the end of the day they just pull their shoulders up and say it's not their problem. I dealt with 5 different individuals who each had their own version of what the process entails and should be, there is no standard process to follow,. Forcing the public to have to go through attorneys to get their divorces finalized.
