We went for our first time to Joy Jozi on Father day, I had booked on dine plan in advance. We managed to get seated when we arrived, the front desk ladies are very helpful. They managed to keep my surprise cake a day before, and on the day our kids really enjoyed the atmosphere and options available to them. They loved the pasta, not so much the boerie without a roll. My burger was average, but Daddy’s steak was very good. We will be back because we enjoyed the ambience and safety aspect. Kid-friendliness: Various options available to keep them busy and safe.

This place is amazing. So many lovely play areas. Delicious food and cocktails! Childminders kept a close eye on the kids so we could feel like adults and eat our food and the kids had a ball! 10/10 would recommend and return soonRecommended dishes

A really phenomenal establishment. They cater to your kids every need with so many things to do that you actually have time to eat your meal in peace while your child has the best time of their lives. Truly a one of kind restaurant.Food: 5/5

The place is incredible for kids. Child minders are fantastic, kids can play safely BUT I am not impressed by the food side of things. Actually, we were so disappointed. Here are a few things: R60 entry per kid to play sort of ok We went on Sunday morning. The normal menu which is on their website is only available at 11:30. The choice for parents to eat is a R300ph harvest table and that’s it. The kids had two options: scrambled egg or waffles!?!? My kids eat neither of these. When I asked for a drinks menu I was told they have everything, so I ordered a red grapetiser which landed up being out of stock. I again asked for a drinks menu and I’m still waiting… Landed up not eating or drinking anything as the service was dismal to say the least.

The most amazing setting to spend an afternoon 3 hours max with your kids and family. We thought that we were going to a kids play venue but it’s so much more. Incredible service from start to finish. Very kind, respectful and attentive staff. Plenty of activities for the kids which ranges from outdoor play to indoor activities like ceramic painting etc. Child minders are also available to watch while you chat and have a meal. Now this is where this venue really amazes us. Every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious and served in great portions. This ranged from pizza, burgers, Asian styled dishes and grills. Every single one of us enjoyed our meals and because of the number of us, we each tasted each others dishes which was amazing! Well prepared, flavourful meals with great portions. One of the most amazing finds for our quick weekend trip to JHB. Book in advance, it’s worth it.

Food is really average here and at a premium price, you'd expect more from it. Service is also shocking, we were a table of 6 and our meals came 10-15 min apart. Pizza wasn't cooked properly, kept having to search for our waiter. I can say that the play area is unbeatable and the child minders are the best.Food: 1/5

This place is absolutely beautiful, feels safe, the mood is lovely. As a parent you get to relax and enjoy the company of family/ friends and your kids get to experience cloud 9...we all enjoyd it. I wish I took more pics...absolutely beautiful place.

What an insane place! Absolutely loved it. The playground is not too big and not too small. There are child minders everywhere so the little ones are always safe. The food was amazing! I had the green lamb pizza and it was delicious. The base was tasty and not too thin or too thick. I'll definitely be coming back!

Do not recommend, unless you have kids and don't care about good food because the food is bland and overpriced. The venue is so pretty - lovely decor, lush garden, lots of interesting play areas for the kids and a few child minders so you can sip bubbles and chat with your friends while they play. My nephew had loads of fun. But very average expensive food - the descriptions get you excited, but the flavour fails to deliver, with the only exception being the warm loaf. We had the chicken burger, the beef burger, the fillet, and all were disappointing. The service was OK, one of the waitresses seemed annoyed at having to be there. For all the effort it took to get a booking, we had really good time! So many great options for the kids with friendly child minders and for a kiddies place, the food was actually really good just a bit on the pricey side. I do wish there were more options on the menu and the parking is not so great, but overall a wonderful experience and a great option for a family lunch.
