It was the worst possible problem - a blown gasket - and I was quoted a fortune for me to have it repaired by a mainstream garage in Stellenbosch. I called out to friends to recommend a repair shop that would not rip me off and I was immediately directed to Mr Griessen, who fixed my car fast at half the price. Thank you so much!
Best mechanic in town. Highly recommended if you've got a German car and require affordable and quality service. They specialise in mechanical issues, not electronics, but they have all the gadgets required for proper diagnostics.
To date, I have only had a good experience taking my vehicle to Richard Griessen Repairs. Their prices are reasonable and service professional and courteous. They always let you know before hand of what the possible issue and possible costs involved is before any work is done. Storage of your vehicle is on a safe enclosed premises. I would highly recommend them.

At first the service was great he is always very kind and help full but after a oil leak every thing change and hope Mr Griesem will help to set it right,waiting for response after i took fotos i was shocked to found out nothing is done to Mr Griesem standards hope he will sort out his mechanic i kept my invoices and waiting now for treat solutions to fix the bolt that came out on 3 and 4 injectors according to Mr Griesem they replace it with a insert but after inspection i took the coil out and take a picture
An honest mechanic...he has been a rare find. Been taking my cars to him for years and I'll use no other mechanic.
Doesn't give a quote then wanna charge thousands of rands for half of the work done.
