Roots & Shoots SA is a programme for youth action! We encourage youth to take ownership of their futures by taking a stand today. Roots & Shoots SA volunteers show their compassion through service projects and are empowered to work individually and collectively towards solving existing environmental and social problems and preventing future difficulties.
To encourage a conscience that fosters respect and compassion for all living things; promotes the understanding of all cultures and beliefs; and inspires individuals to become agents of positive change making the world a better place for people, animals and the environment.
