Rosepark Hospitaal

This is still a hospital where you can you see professionalism and pride has not been touched by the greediness and uncaring attitude of the South African Government. Here the staff are still neat and tidy and well groomed. The floors, walls and everything else is still clean and neat. The wards are extremely clean and well sanitized. There is still a degree a silence adhered to as should be in hospitals to respect the ill. And the staff in general are extremely friendly and always willing to assist where they can. I just visited a family member there. But sure if i could would choose to go here if ever i need to go to hospital.

I recently visited a patient in the medical ward at Rosepark Hospital. I was extremely disappointed with the conditions in the ward. The air conditioning units were not working properly, and as a result, the temperature in the ward was too high for comfort. This will make any stay in the hospital much less pleasant than it should have been, and it also had negative impacts on my health and recovery. It is unacceptable that a medical facility would not provide a comfortable and adequately temperature-controlled environment for its patients. I hope that the hospital will address this issue and make the necessary repairs to the air conditioning units as soon as possible.

My stepfather is currently in Cardio I.C.U, in a very serious condition, we had an extremely rude and unhelpful male nurse name "Matthews" verbally assaulted my mother in the presence of everyone in the ward, when she tried to ask him Matthews for assistance in making my stepfather more comfortable, this is completely unacceptable. For reference sake this happened today 7 January 2022 between 16:00 and 17:00. She left the unit in tears, already traumatized. Edit - Even after she attempted to deescalate the situation, since it is an Intensive Care Unit, he simply continued his tirade. The is not Pelenomi, this is a private hospital, and you would expect that level of care, since that is what you're paying for. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

My mother is in Rosepark Hospital and she have been waiting for 4 hour to be help This is supposed to a top Hospital but there sevice is horrible. Now she have to stay a nother night and this is draining her medical aid

I work at maternity ward as a cleaner for four years the staff are so nice with me they coporate with the patient very nice we work as a team

Oustanding service, quiet and peacefull. Excellent service and friendly staff. Check ups more than you want to get. 10/10

Poor!! My neurosurgeon was fabulous but the hospital it self.

We have a family member in ICU and the communication channels are shocking. We are not allowed in hospital and we are never advised of the status of the patient. When we phone, they give us totally the wrong information that doesn't correspond to what the doctor says. They also appear to be irritated when we phone. Don't they realise it is important for us to know what the status of our loved one is??

Having your first child during a pandemic can be really scary. And with all the strict rules to keep everyone safe it was quite daunting task to say the least. BUT the nursing staff from the maternity ward was world class, thanks to them it seemed like an everyday run of the mill kind of thing from me. I know people take the nursing staff for granted! I would just like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys are the best! Hopefully I will see you all again in the near future!
