The Run/Walk For Life program is a three-times-a-week exercise plan. This allows your muscles sufficient time to recover and reduces risk of injury. All of the walking and running programs are suitable for people of any age, fitness level or ability, and are suitable for pregnant women.
On joining, your fitness level will be assessed, and you will be placed in a group according to your ability
Run/Walk For Life also caters for the more advanced runner and walker. Run /Walk for Life has its own Athletic Club, and as a branch we are very active participating in races weekly
Each member has different goals as far as fitness is concerned, and our computerised systems help monitor progress towards these goals. At Run/Walk for Life Fourways we help you set your goals for the year by having different “Challenges” to work towards
