Pathetic service. Called them to amend a policy, they send you from pillar to post. No one knows what they're doing, they kept on saying "let's transfer you to the relevant dept."

Terrible terrible terrible company. My father is a pensioner so I assist him with everything relating to his insurance. His car got involved in a car accident last year,April 2022. It took them months to find us a panel beater… once it was there for repairs, it took them five months to get the car fixed mind you it’s a Nissan Micra, and only the bumper was damaged, so I’m sure finding parts wasn’t difficult.SAU never bothered to do any follow ups. We had to put pressure on them but they never bothered. We asked them to authorise a different Panel beater since this one seems to be delaying. They ignored us. The person who assisted us with the claims was so rude, his name is Philemon. He would make me feel small or as if I’m nothing. He would interject when I try to explain to him the situation. He would not give me a chance to speak instead he would rudely dismiss everything I say. He would promise to call me back and he never does. Very UNPROFESSIONAL… Definitely cancelling this insurance.

Worst ever experience, cancelled immediately! Had a dog run in front of my car, on a very busy road, it unfortunately damaged my car, fortunately dog okay. Now I am told that I cannot claim as I use the car to pick up supplies for my restaurant and take staff! Ridiculous. I get deliveries at work and staff I take without asking them to pay, but that had nothing to do with that day. I never give bad reviews, my first ever, but they horrid, thanks for nothing. A quick fix but you don't want to assist, glad to cancel and move to another insurer! So I am not allowed to drive? Please note this happened either June or July, its now November now you send me an outcome? Its so long ago I can't even remember...

This is the worst insurance company ever. Nothing good to say about them. Pathetic!

When our family vehicle's gearbox was damaged, they asked us to drive 5km to meet their Accessor by the police station. A damaged car had to be driven to meet an Accessor the policy pays for! Unacceptable! Finding a home address using Google Maps is super easy in this day and age, even when living in a remote area. As a Pensioner, the owner couldn't afford the Excess Fee, which hadn't been reviewed by then. That meant we had to find other inadequate means of rectifying the issue, with so many issues along the way. The high excess fee that is calculated for Pensioner Policyholders, even after your policy is reviewed, continues to be very high! We just stopped paying and found ourselves a new Insurer.

This is one hell of a company. I do not recommend it. It’s a disaster, everything is slow, unnecessary questions etc. please save your money and go elsewhere. Rather pay expensive than cheap for a pathetic service.

Bad experience for me just for changing banking details. Late response don't answer their calls neither emails on time. They are affordable but my worry is, what service do you get when claiming when you get terrible service for simple things.

I made claim and the damages amounted to R25000 according to there assessors. Got 3 quotes that amounted to R3400 quality assured . I was then told by SAunderwriter about: Volentry excess Basic excess Incorrect licence Single vehicle All amounting to R18500 I will not recommend them to any human being worse then a scam
