SACE Office Durban

22 May 2023 I received very good service from SACE in Durban. I got my certificate within an hour. The ladies at the front were extremely helpful and friendly. I was really pleased with my overall experience.

Great service and friendly staff. Arrived there at 8am and finished at 8:55am. The location of SACE has changed, it's 180 Mahatma Gandhi Road, 4 The Spinnaker. It's across from uShaka Marine World. What you'll need: • Black pen • Application Form provided on arrival • National Senior Certificate certified copy • Degree/qualifications certified copy • Academic record certified copy • ID certified copy • Police Clearance certified copy. There is a place to do a police clearance next door but I'm not sure how long it takes to get results. • R200 paid by card

The service is absolutely poor, with no directory signage, no reception service, no order their service representative with abusive tone, no interpersonal or people skills. Always Crowded and not enough space within their facilities. Would be nice if they could find a bigger facility with a few more employees since proper planning and installation of efficient and up-to-date systems is decades from happening.

At the biggining of the year their service was very poor, it came to a point where I had a fight with securities there becouse we were left on the sun the whole day unattended till the sunset and securities will tell us to stay outside Zumaysha building so helpless. But this time around I was very surprised, The service was on another level we were all attended and get helped up to the last minutes, big up guys we are very happy with your service.

As long as you have ALL the documents you need. This has been a long 2.5 hours but stress-free experience. 1. Police clearance certified 2. R50 paid to SARS bank account Nedbank find details on their website bring printed proof of EFT 3. I.D. certified copy 4. Application forms 5. Certificate of degree certified copy There is card a card facility here that I had to use to pay my outstanding year fees.

I have been trying to contact the SACE offices since March 2021.My daughter's SACE application was approved in February .I have been trying to get her certificate. Everytime I call, I never get through. I have tried emailing but have still been unsuccessful. Even a soft copy would be better than nothing.

This place is so unorganised and they dont even let you sit and wait for your friend while there are 50 chairs available. One has to wait outside. And its nothing to do with covid. Absolutely ridiculous

This rating doesn't even deserve a single star. Complete lack of organisation, endless lines, make you wait outside while they print your documents, no communication. I would recommend avoiding when ever possible. There are other company's that will do this process for you, with a surcharge.

SACE Durban is the most xenophobic place I have ever been . I am south African citizen originally from central Africa. I had applied for sace with my SAID and all my documents, there was no issue with my documents. Surprisingly , those ladies hid my documents at the backyard and denied receiving my application when I came to collect it . I had to give them war in order for me to get that letter. I was called foreigner , I was insulted indirectly , humiliated just because my name is not Zulu enough . I am planning to sue them for delaying my application and delaying chances if me having a job .

Been going there since july only to be stopped at the door by the security guard telling me the offices are closed eventually managed to apply online but my certificate was lost in the post coz I have not received it despite number attempt to get a reprint.
