Great place to have dinner and drinks, whether it's just going out with your friends or as a couple, the music was great the dj kept us entertained but I'd have to disagree with the service the waiters there never came to clear out our table after we ate. We had to change tablesFood: 5/5

Massive disappointment. Ordered the 500g T bone  salt and pepper rub steak medium with a side of salad. The food got here barely 5 mins away cold. The steak was watery, bland and tough. The salad was 90% lettuce with barely any others. Extreme disappointment.

This place was lit, i enjoyed the food as well as the vibe. Service was super slow tho but it wasn't a major issue because we were chilling.

I really enjoyed the vibe here , the music  was  ...lit crowd and atmosphere. It was just a lituation . I highly recommend the jagershots very well mixed  I am definitely interested in going back.Food: 5/5

Service is poor. Lots of waiter staff that don't want to assist if it's not their table. This newscafe is cramped and feels like a coffee shop. The meals were pretty decent but overall average. The DJ did a great job keeping us entertained. I'm not likely to go back there.Food: 3/5

Today I ordered three burger meals with a side of fries, and the waitress gave me rice as a side! Who eats a burger with a side of rice???? Worst part she seemed uninterested in serving us

It was awesome  the vibe there it's on another level and their waiter/waitress are very friendly  customer service it's dope

Had a fabulous time,even though music could have been more dated but it was ok...the lighting is too orange so pictures ended up all orange,natural lighting would be niceFood: 5/5

Located on the cnr of Fredman drive and Gwen Lane inside the 24 Central building this Newscafe is as old as Sandton it’s self. I always says it’s 2 energies , during the day you come for a delicious meal for lunch and at night it turns into a club vibey scene without the entrance charge, Shooter girls walking around ready to fill your tank with a variety of shooters .It’s like the go to spot after dinners around Sandton when you just want to hang , be around a nice energy. The staff is always on point , the place is always clean yet when it becomes Night time the manning of the ladies toilets decreases unlike during the day. The prices of alcohol and food is good value and that kitchen produces some real tasty meals. And ...well ...let’s just say your a single guy looking to have a good night this place has also an “interesting” wide variety of individuals to accommodate the lonely and bored. You just can’t go wrong at this Newscafe . have fun and make friends easily.
