Shoprite South Africa

Standing in the queue right now 10 September 2022 during load shedding. There are 20 tills available, but only 3 are open. Management are comfortably seated in their office while we queue into the aisles. I've been in the row for 10 minutes but I have only moved once. Terrible.

Went shopping at Shoprite on Saturday, 22 October 2022. Stood in the queue for 25 minutes. Only 3 tills open and 2 express tills. We had only 6 shoppers in front of us and all of them had only baskets. The queues at the other 2 tills as well as the express tills were also very long and took a long time to move. I complained to the manager and all he said was that the other till attendant was on lunch - at 11h00 in the morning?? Ridiculous and the till attendants are rude and slow. I will not shop there again.

When I comes to Food I personally Believe that presentation is key - that's not the case with this Shoprite. When it come to in-produce departments Deli Fast Food, Bakery and also the Fruit and vegetables The presentation can make you lose appetite, the Pie look like they're old maybe they're As for the Butchery Timothy Struwig Manager seems to be giving it his best. I'm just not sure if it's a Good idea to place shoes directly infront of the Butchery Staff: The Shop is not that busy hence at times you find there's only one person at bakery and Bread burns. - it seem like No One see anything wrong, And the Customers still Buy

Specials advertised are mot at the advertised price.... yet no specials pamphlets available.... to query this... they definitely won't see me again.... especially for the non existent specials as advertised

Good service to ward's customers choice of a product that you can buy

Yesterday I went to buy some amasi and needed some cash back the lady who was helping me she was rude and aggressive as if I was borrowing her money . Cashiers the should know that whenever we do need cash back we are not asking their money the rudeness is unnecessary. I was so disappointed seriously

Nice place to go to for anything, all you need at 1 shop Their meat section is, poorly stocked... most of the time Cashiers tend to be lazy, sometimes... Good Pharmacy Service.

I almost always shop highly discounted items at Shoprite when I'm in Brakpan.

My mom stays right next to Shoprite. They always buy groceries there as it more convenient and much closer than other shops. Yesterday My mom went grocery shopping again. She would normally get help from the trolley guard. Was not the case yesterday. Half way to her flat one of the trolley guards made her unpack a full trolley! My mom needing the help of a walker had to load her walker full of groceries. Luckily my sister who went with helped my mom. What is even more disgusting is the fact that that trolley guard who made them unpack the trolley still walked with them to her flat. Not helping at all! Pushed the empty trolley and watched how they had to battle. I find this nausiating. They asked the guard why they have to unpack. His reply was "not allowed to take trolleys away". WTH! He pushed an empty trolley the her flat! This is discuting. Shoprite you need to really wake up and keep an eye on your staff.

Shoprite is a cool place to do some shopping.
