The food was delicious and really fast. I had the Roquefort snails and they were large and tender, not overcooked or rubbery as they tend to be with large snails. The sauce was creamy and very well balanced and did not have an overpowering Roquefort flavour. I then had the surf and turf with the rump and white wine sauce. The steak was nice and thick and very juicy and my side baked potato was perfect. Service was awesome. Well done team
My chicken curry didn't have much flavor to it and the chicken was overcooked and tasted boiled, it was terrible. Rice was bland and cold too. Also ordered a chicken snitchcel and it tasted previous frozen , plain unflavored chicken. The chips were frozen too , tried 1 and spat it out. Cheese sauce was cheap and canned. The wine was terrible , had a sip and gagged and just left it all. Was expecting a lot better. Reading recent reviews I see this place is actually pretty bad. The waiter were extremely rude too and make you feel like they doing you a favor by being there and very unwelcoming. Would not recommend this place at all. Expected a better experience considering the name and brand. Parking: Very quiet shopping centre , no vibe or anything. Feels like a business centre.
Absolutely great service and tasty food, I had the lamb shank with a buttery mash and honey glazed carrots, shank could be eaten with a spoon as it was melt in the mouth. My partner had the lamb chops which were tender and well done to perfection, we finished of with a dessert of missippi mudpie to share, this was a perfect finish to the evening. We tried them again on the next night but as we returned late to our hotel 21:45pm we went to the restaurant at 22:00pm time for the kitchen to call it a night but the staff and manager on duty didn't refuse us and took our order of lamb ribs which were the most amazingly tender, fall of the bone ribs we ever had. Overall great food and outstanding service!
I went to the restaurant last week for lunch with my dad and the venue has an aesthetic sitting area with plentiful natural lighting. The restaurant has lunchtime special offers which we decided to try. The special offers 5 lunch time options for R89 and includes a glass of a red/white Durban Hills wine. The special is only valid on weekdays and is not available on weekends and publics holidays
Excellent service!The food is delicious & the staff are friendly They've got a Mon-Thur lunchtime special for only R99 & you get a glass of red or white wine with your meal ! You have a choice of sea views or outside seating.Awesome ambience Food: 5/5
Good spot for meat and wine lovers! Preferably go with a local who can guide you on the choices! The staff is nice and prices are reasonable. Nice and quiet atmosphere.
We attended for a staff lunch .Food was okay not bad however service was bad , waiter had an attitude nobody checked up on us during the meal . Very disappointing for a first time experience.Food: 2/5
It was the worst experience ever... steaks where practically raw and over priced with very limited side dishes. Chicken and prawn curry had boiled chicken skin inside and very bland... I cannot for the life of me understand how this place has a 4,5 star rating.... the manager didn't even apologize for the pathetic food that was deliver to our table. We sent the starks for redoing three times and it came back worse every time.
Very disappointed with this restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming and they are Covid 19 compliant, but that’s about it for these guys. The Greek salad did not look good and it had lettuce with brown edges with ordinary feta, unlike the Greek salad at Butcher Boy’s, which is the same price but looks better and has Danish feta. I ordered my steak medium rare to medium, but my first steak was well done. Not good for a steakhouse or for my date who ate alone while I watched. The second steak was rare, but I had to eat it, because I couldn’t wait for another one to be cooked. Both our steaks were tasteless and required lots of salt and sauce to make it taste better. Disappointing, since they only serve the premium steaks on their menu. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant.
Great food ...Took too long to get that food though No one should ever have to wait two hours for a steak It's inhumane Fix this !Recommended dishes200g Sirloin and Chips
