Sinethemba is a registered Drop-In Centre providing day time shelter for children & youth at risk in the Knysna area.
Help at-risk children - re-unite children living and working on the streets with their families - reintegrate kids back to school - keeping the rights of our children protected!
Sinethemba aims to provide basic physical, emotional, spiritual and social support to young people at risk & their families.
Sinethemba works with an average of 30 children at risk per day. Over the last few years the focus has been a lot on prevention, hence more programs were conducted at the schools and in the community. Supporting this venture, more support also to the parents of the children through parent trainings and family conferences.
To prepare every child & youth at risk and their families to become responsible, self-reliant and participating citizens.
