Excellent service from Imogen She measured my husband and brought out a selection of suits in his size. The trousers were too big but this was no problem as they offer a free alteration service. Imogen then helped choosing the right size/style shirt for him. So nice to have the personal service when you’re faced with a huge selection and aren’t sure where to start. Shows that customer service does still exist in some shops. Will definitely be going back there whenever my husband needs clothes.

Buying a suit for the first time, I'm a larger fella so I wasn't hopeful. The chap the dealt with me,Andrea's, was incredibly helpful. He sorted out a suit that is a perfect fit, a waistcoat that really liked and the right style of shirt I needed. He offered great advice and was very good natured. Absolutely no complaints.

My daughter's getting married in April and their best men, groomsmen and fathers are all of various shapes, sizes and heights. So, finding Slater Menswear proved to be an absolute godsend as it caters for them all ! Excellent customer care provided. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. THANK YOU, IMOGEN! Large range of suits, etc. available both off-rail and to order. Free in-house alterations not sure if there's a minimum, as we've ordered 11 suits. Plus, there's every accessory you could require......all within one store. I understand there is also suit hire available too. A complete one stop shop! Although I highly, highly recommend them, a warning for everyone..... be prepared for a wait. They are extremely popular and busy. However, having said that, they are most definitely worth the wait!

I called in today to find a suit for my wedding and also for my two groomsmen, Imogen and a colleague both greeted us as we entered the store and as Imogen was available she was quickly able to help us. I have to say that I had not had very much luck or enjoyment in finding our suits so far, but that instantly changed as soon as we entered the Slater store in Canterbury. The store was impressively stocked, and the staff were all friendly, but honestly the energy, enthusiasm and professionalism from Imogen was fantastic. I couldn't get exactly what I initially wanted but she was able to provide me with a perfect alternative due to me choosing an end of line product and she was able to easily meet my styling challenges for the wedding theme. I am still waiting for my groomsmen's suits to come in and to have the final fitting but I am confident everything will be fine and I am actually looking forward to wearing my suit. Unless something goes drastically wrong, I think I have found my new go to place for my suits and smart wear.

Such a friendly place and the staff were so helpful, and as the didn't have what fitted me in stock, they took my measurements altered and posted it to me, I gave them short notice and they delivered with time to spare, would use them again without dout and highly recommend

What a gem. Needed a DJ for an event that evening. No time for adjustments....oh my. The guy who served me took my measurements picked a suit off the rack....fitted perfectly. Measured my neck for a shirt....fitted perfectly....grabbed a bow tie....brilliant. Totally kitted out for £180....fabulous. Would totally recommend.
