Good service from Mel, the owner; service from other staff are slow. She is helpful to answer questions to in-/experienced customers. There's a large variety of sleeper wood to choose from based on its grades - internal use floor or stairs to external use. Sleeper wood are wood primarily from underneath train tracks; they are solid wood and can withstand quite a bit of pressure / load. Wood can be bought as is or can be cut for you to your desired sizes. EACH cutting is charged and the wood is not very cheap, so overall, it is not very cheap but the exercise is cheaper than buying new wood. When using maps, enter destination as Lytleton Police to bring you directly opposite the entrance of Sleeper Sales.

Who would have thought that such a place even exists. Looking for sleepers? I will be extremely surprised if you don't find what you want there. I weny looking for certain size beams to hang my model airplanes up on and yip you guessed it, i found the exact beams I was looking for. Awesomeness
