A beautiful, boutique gallery situated in the heart of the artistic centre of Woodstock, Cape Town. Long a hub for artists, musicians and creative-minded professionals. I visited the gallery at the suggestion of a friend, who knowing my love for art, thought I would enjoy it. I most certainly did. Whilst I did feel it was a bit small in terms of size, it is nevertheless a fantastic gallery with beautiful pieces of art from our talented local artists. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Entry is free as well so I would definitely suggest a visit anytime you are in Woodstock, irrespective of whether you are an art lover or not, it deserves a visit.

SMAC gallery owes us nearly R100 000 for a painting that was never delivered commissioned last year in June and have so far consistently evaded email requests to pay the amount promised and covered by insurance. They have made multiple promises over the past year to make good by either delivering the art work or reimbursing the amount we paid and have missed a total of 14 dates committed to rectify the situation. I once thought this was a great gallery but we have basically been completely ripped off. We are now pursuing legal action against the gallery. I'd recommend you source your artwork elsewhere.
