Be careful when you hand over your hard earned money to this company. Their after sales service does not exist and owner changes company info so people unable to post negative reviews. You are also prevented by owner from posting negative reviews on facebook posts.

Very disappointing after-sales service from Sokolic Solar. Even “There are internal failure alarms and I need urgent help” does not get your call returned. I called five times that day! I referred three friends who also purchased systems and they have all had a similar experience when needing support - there is just none at all. If you need help, find out who the support agents are for your equipment and go directly to them.

I can highly recommend Sokolic Solar! Andrew designed the perfect system for our needs. We enjoyed exceptional service and communication and support after installation. Ian and the team are incredibly professional and produced a level of work of the highest quality - extremely commendable. The whole experience has been first class. The system operates flawlessly, and we do not know about load shedding. What an absolute pleasure!

Aftersales is another story. It leaves a bitter taste in one’s mouth. Twice had problems, twice struggle to get Andrew just to phone me. Always to busy to phone. And so we sit waiting for Andrew to phone or send someone out to see what’s the problem. After a week and a half they came and had a look at the inverter said they will take it out to get it fixed. When taking it out the MPPT connector short. Later that afternoon it get a mail with a quote attached for a new inverter stating that the inverter can’t be fixed. The inverter is a year and 4 months old. He states that the inverter only has a year warranty, but if you call the guys that import the inverters it has a 3 year warranty. Even the place where they bought it, they told me it has a 3 year warranty. It doesn’t help you leave messages at reception he doesn’t get back to you. You can send mails then he will only get back to you after a few days. With the same start, it’s like a generic reply, Sorry for the late reply but we are very busy, Hmmm

Andrew and his team installed a 16kw Solar system for me just over a month ago and the whole experience was great. From confirming my order with him the system was installed in less than 2 weeks and is operating great and making in excess of 40kwh per day - the first month we made over 900kwh. Their service was great and the workmanship is near perfect. Highly recommend Sokolik Solar.

The level of service was excellent and professional with my solar installation. The level of professionalism from Ian the installer was fantastic. The guys worked neatly and left my place neat and tidy. My solar installation works a treat and would certainly recommend Sokolic Solar each and every time. Well done guys on a fantastic job.

Advice, quoting process, communication and ultimately the installation process was done effortlessly, professional and correct. It was a pleasure when the first load shedding happened and the system kicked in without as much as a flicker. Highly recommend Sokolic Solar!

The worst ever supplier of alternative sources of energy. Within 6 months of installation with Sokolic solar we experienced problems . Our batteries incorrectly installed did not last a year. After sales service is non existent. He blocks any attempt to contact him including over social media even rebranding to avoid the negative reviews.

The 14th of December 2021 Sokolic Solar installed a 8kVA Solar system at our home. During the installation the power in the kitchen was disconnected. Since the installation we have issues with the power in the kitchen the system is installed in the scullery. We have informed Andrew from Sokolic Solar about this and he denies that this has something to do with the installation. Since then he doesn't answer email, phone or WhatsApp we are simply being ignored, very unprofessional. Additionally the system is supposed to come with a compliance certificate after installation, I still have not received this certificate and I wonder if the system actually is compliant. If you are in the market for a solar system do some proper research before you transfer your hard earned cash to Sokolic. Don't make the same mistake I did and base it on the Facebook reviews as these are being moderated. Once you have paid you no longer exists as a client and you are on your own.
