Beautiful mosque with it historical outdoor area still intact from my childhood days. Peaceful and calm. Muslim brothers were very friendly. Mosque is well kept and clean. There is something about the atmosphere that brings about calmness whilst there.
A little lost surprise piece of history, an absolutely stunning mosque tucked away in the brush of Ladysmith. It was a bit early and the masjid was closed but the feeling of serenity and quint peace was simply spiritual. A real hidden gem in South Africa.
I rate it as one of the best Mosques in the country. Its history and also its design is something that just makes you wonder how was it possible for them to build such a mega structure.
It is a very nice mosque. It is big n beautiful and is open to Muslims during the day
Beautiful Masjid with a amazing atmosphere
A Historic Structure and one of the oldest buildings in Ladysmith. The mosque has over many years helped and benefited the community second to none. Recent contributors include the late Ismail Lighty Hansa and CS Asmal. The town is definitely more poor these days without these good men.
