My experience with Southern Suburbs Driving Academy can be summarized in one word, amazing. My instructor, Glen Floris, is an excellent instructor, very patient and really fun to be around. He's someone who can understand your struggles and will give precise instructions on how to pass your driver's test. If there's one person that I would recommend anyone to do their lessons with regarding Southern Suburbs Driving Academy, it's Glen Floris. I passed my drivers yesterday and I just want to thank Glen and the academy for not just an excellent service and an awesome instructor but also for making a person's dream come true and showing that it's all about progress and not perfection Keep up the good work guys and to anyone who's reading this right now, Southern Suburbs Driving Academy is the driving school that will teach you everything that you need to know about the road.
Ashley is an amazing and proficient driving instructor. He taught me the detailed basics of driving. He also helped me build my confidence with driving. I am forever grateful for Southern Suburbs Driving Academy and their impact on my driving experience.
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Southern Suburbs Driving Academy, particularly with their instructor Chris. I feel compelled to share my ordeal to caution others against making the same mistake I did by choosing this driving school. From the very first lesson, it was evident that Chris had a complete lack of professionalism and respect towards me as a student. Instead of fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment, he constantly belittled and shouted at me. It was disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and reminded repeatedly that our interaction was merely a business transaction and not a friendly interaction. The level of rudeness and impatience displayed by Chris was unacceptable. It became evident that his priority was not to help me develop my driving skills or ensure my safety on the road, but rather to rush through the lessons and collect his fees. This approach was not only counterproductive but also detrimental to my confidence as a learner driver. Regrettably, due to the unbearable treatment I endured during the limited two lessons I managed to complete, I made the difficult decision to discontinue my training with Southern Suburbs Driving Academy. I requested a refund for the remaining eight lessons, as the quality of instruction provided by Chris was far below the standard I expected. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise against enrolling with Southern Suburbs Driving Academy, particularly if Chris is assigned as your instructor. The disrespectful and unprofessional behavior I encountered is not representative of a reputable driving school. There are numerous other driving schools available that offer superior services and instructors who prioritize their students' development and well-being. In conclusion, my encounter with Chris at Southern Suburbs Driving Academy was nothing short of a nightmare. I urge prospective students to carefully consider their options and seek out alternative driving schools that prioritize their students' learning experience and treat them with the respect they deserve.

One word... phenomenal!!! Glen went above and beyond with my daughter who past first time!!! I would use them again in a heartbeat. Kind, compassionate and understanding...and so lovely to deal with.
My learner driving experience began with Mr Glen Floris. A giant personality with loads of patience, encouragement and advice. I appreciate the effort and time spent during my lessons and it certainly paid off. I passed my drivers test on first attempt today and that is testament to an instructor of the highest calibre. I would like to thank Glen for his tremendous work and would highly recommend him as a driving instructor.
A big thanks to Southern Suburbs Driving Academy, especially Glen my instructor. He is always on time, very calm, patient and has been motivating me throughout my driving journey.He made things very easy for me to understand the road traffic rules, now I’ve gained more experience because of him. Southern Suburbs Driving Academy has excellent instructors and I would recommend it to anyone who is eager to pass their driving test.
A huge thank you to Glen Floris for his contribution in Shilo's success in passing his driver's licence on his first attempt. Glen was engaging and approachable and accommodated Shilo as he attends college and his lessons needed be scheduled around these times. Thank you Glen for going the extra mile with Shilo especially in the week running up to his exam. I succeeded in my driver’s licence test not only because of the best driving academy but the best driving instructor. Ashley Richards not only equipped me with knowledge and confidence for my test for my lifetime of driving. Forever grateful to have experienced their teachings & 100% recommend !!
