We are members of the SECC. Our organization started as a campaign against electricity cut-offs. Our struggle for affordable electricity for all has grown into a struggle for free basic services for all. Basic services are all the things that a human being needs in order to live such as job, food, housing, health care, education, electricity, water, sanitation, recreation, and other basic necessities of modern life. Basic services are a right not a privilege. We will fight to make sure that everyone, employed, young or old, should get these basic services whether they have got the money to pay or not.
