Good for surfing, streaming, gaming and work. I am located a bit far from the tower, but the team made a plan to get me connected. The service works well. I get the maximum speed and good latency. Sometimes there is the occasional issue, but their support is quite prompt and they make sure it gets sorted quickly.
At the onset of our contract with Speedsurf, my wife and I had Adaan and Charl over at our house to check feasibility of their service. They assured us that we would get excellent connection and that 4mbps would be all we needed for gaming, streaming, and work on 2 machines. From day one, we were not satisfied, but always believed their words when they said they wanted to work things out. We upgraded our link at their recommendation as they now believed 4mbps was not enough for gaming and streaming, but this did not make a difference. We explained how there would be massive latency in games as well as pinwheeling on Netflix and Youtube. Eventually, their response on Whatsapp their ticketing service was "will look into it and revert" but there was NEVER ANY FEEDBACK! When I complained that there had been no real feedback for the who-knows-how-many'th time, they cancelled my link with a month's notice rather than making a real attempt to fix the problem. Bottom line: speedsurf is for browsers and casual download and upload. See all the speedtests I did over the last year on my "8mbps line" reading from less than 1mbps to around 5mbps. Tests done with one device connected and no network usage other than the speedtest.
I was about to leave a review and was shocked to read the last review posted and would just like to say I totally disagree with comments made about speedsurf and their service. As to there complaints about connectivity and speed I cannot comment because I don't know enough. Firstly the quality of service I have received from Adaan and Charl has been nothing but outstanding. I to have an 8meg connection. Have 3 smart TV's 2 tv boxes, 3 cellphones and my PC all running on my 8 meg connection albeit not all running at the same time it is sometimes very close and I don't have to many issues with connectivity. And by issues I mean if have all the devices or even just 3 of them all running some streaming application or gaming a person should expect some latency issues. I am however not here to teach people about this stuff I am here to say I totally disagree with last person's review as I can honestly say I have never experienced the type of service he says he has received. I mean I have contact on some occasions past 11PM and they have actually responded. Tell me another service provider that does that other than your huge internet service providers and even then I have my doubts. So to Adaan and Charl, thanks for the excellent service your company provides. It is like they say "You can please some people some of the time but you can't please everyone all of the time." So once again thanks for the excellent service.
Would prefer NO star rating !!! If your considering this service provider subscription I strongly suggest you shop somewhere else. Customer service or lack their off and relations is non existant!!!!! You will pay for something you don't get.

Used to get reliable internet and service from these guys about 2 years however their internet has become more and more unreliable with frequent drops in speed and connectivity.
