Very popular place in the area. Freshly prepared food, great portions and very well priced. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was served quite quickly considering how busy they were. The Hake was very tasty, as were the battered and fried Calamari.

Served by Sally. If we were sitting in a fancy restaurant paying R300/400 per meal, I would nitpick. But sitting alongside a water park, on bench seating and eating seafood meals for half that price , I have no complaints. We had grilled hake and fried calamari rings as well as grilled prawns and fried calamari. The seafood was a touch over cooked, but the flavours and quality of the products were superb. Service was so relaxed and friendly, it was like having lunch with a lifelong friend. Portions were huge, quality of the meals were great, drinks were cold, the view of the ocean was lovely. Top that off with the most amazing service and you have the makings of a restaurant that can be visited regularly- we certainly don’t plan on letting that be the last time. Well done to Thirsty whale and the team.

Absolute winner for hot summer days to come cool of and enjoy a day out. Great fun for kids on the slides and tubes. Adults can choose to relax or also go on the slides and tubes and lazy river. Book yourself a deck if you want to be out of the sun, or hire a gazebo or umbrellas. There is a place to buy some nice hot chips and other food if u choose not to bring your own. The only downside is the huge price of R180pp unless you book for 10 people or above then it is R120pp. The other huge downside is, if you book and paid your deposit and you cancel then they DO NOT REFUND YOU.

The vibe is nice. I also liked the idea of the swimming pool and the supertube. Our waitress was professional and assist us. The place were busy and you could see the people enjoyed their food as well. The Duo garlic bread is worthwhile ordering. We all enjoyed our lunch at the Thirsty Whale. There was also a live performance - a bonus.

Nice view. We went over December - January. Lots of people which is expected but my gosh the service was the worst I have ever experienced. 1 Hour to place an order and another 1hour to get served. Just unacceptable. The food on the other hand is very good and very good prices compared to other restaurants. I will go back but they need to speed up the service. One small Kitchen to serve all patrons is the problem I think.

This is a great place to eat, our waittress was absolutely amazing. The meal portion for the money is absolutely fantastic. My mother said it's the best cappuccino she has ever had.Food: 5/5

Fantastic day. Kids loved it a d so did Dad. Saff were freindly. Prices a little high. Will be back with our own supplies and make a fire. Could do with larger change facilities. Great variety of slides . Highly recommended

Next stop on the Dodgy Pub tour. Judging how busy the place was, clearly a local favourite. Service was great & the food delicious. Definitely be back.

The kids really love it! About 6 big slides and 3 for small kids with a beautiful pool. The place is clean, you can buy food and drinks and the lifeguards are in all the right places to ensure safety. At an extra fee you can book an exclusive under cover area which is worth it. Half a day is enough to get to do everything a couple of times.
