My son has been part of the ASP Team for just over a year now. The beginning was tough for him, but he loves it so much now and cannot wait to train. He loves seeing the improvement on his own personal times the 3 different sprints they do and cannot wait to tell us. After a few rugby practices, and a rugby sports festival his young body was not happy, but Coach SQ helped him for a full hour to get the muscles to work again. He was a different child getting in the car. The ASP Team is amazing!
Terrific coaches and excellent training program. Since my son joined ASP in 2019 Sean van Staden and the team have become like family to us. They take a personal interest in each and every member and has helped tremendously. My son used to get a lot of injuries which affected his performance and mental well-being. This was mostly because he did not apply the proper exercises and running techniques. With ASP they could identify his problem areas and has since corrected them. He has learned the correct running techniques and has grown stronger and excelling in is running. I can not say thank you enough for what ASP has done for him and his confidence.
From the first time my husband and I met Sean from ASP team we knew we’d finally found an institution that can help our son realize his sports ambitions. They are professional, knowledgeable and relatable to the young athletes they train. The experience goes without saying and gives the institution credibility in what they aim to achieve with each athlete. My recent experience with their rehabilitation of my son post an injury has really reinforced choosing to them to work with him in the first place. I’m grateful for the very personalised customer service across the board, no matter who you deal with at ASP. The Advanced Sports Performance coaches coach Kenneth especially have made a huge impact in such a short space of time helping my daughter with her 100 and 200m athletic ability. Although it is still early days, my daughter has already managed to come first in both her 100 and 200m races this past week. The amount of time, care and effort from coach Kenneth and his team have been remarkable and we can only thank ASP for helping achieve these results in such a short period. We definitely recommend ASP to EVERYONE as they have proven that ANYONE can be capable of becoming the athlete they want to be.
My son Jaiden Wight joined ASP in August 2017. As a promising athlete who had just made his athletics and cross country teams, we wanted to give him the best chance of succeeding. A year later he has won an inter-school cross country league and has a big chance of qualifying for SA Champs in both the sprints and longer distance disciplines. But the best part is that we know he is only at the start of his athletic journey. His body mechanics are starting to fall in place due to the great training methods they use at ASP and no doubt as he gets stronger his athletics will just go from strength to strength.
I was involved with Sean van Staden and his team from ASP over a 5 month period leading up to our World Cup in Argentina as well as during our time at the World Cup. ASP has an unbelievably high passion in everything they do, which is characterized by their hard working attitude, coupled with their humble approach, attention to detail as well as their precise accuracy in their results. You will not find a higher level of integrity and commitment in this field of work in South Africa. Friendly and professional staff driven by a leader who clearly loves his work and is good at what he does. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who may require their services.
I have worked with Sean Van Staaden and ASP for many years and have always been pleasantly surprised with the high level of service and professionalism that I have have received. My players that have gone through the ASP program have always improved tremendously and have thoroughly enjoyed their experience. My son Miguel Dias spend some months with ASP when he was around 16 years of age and the improvement in his technique, explosive power, speed and overall strength played a big part in him spending a year in PEK Zwolle in Holland and ultimately signing a professional contract back home. I would highly recommend any young footballer to ASP. If the player is willing to work then ASP will definitely help.
My 11 year old son has been with ASP for over a year and has currently been chosen to play football at Deutsche Fußball Internat in Germany. ASP has played a significant role in getting him to where he is. Its made such a difference with his speed, strength and agility. He is truly becoming the complete athlete. It has made him more focused, disciplined and changed his entire lifestyle. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful ASP team that encourages and pushes young athletes to the next level.
My son was with ASP from the age of 9, the brief was make him strong and fast as he was not the biggest kid on the block. ASP and Sean came to the party by creating a monster on the field, this improved his confidence as a player. He played for SuperSport from the age of 10 till we left for Cape Town. The foundation ASP had laid has not left him, he currently plays for UCT senior team and he is only 15, yet holds his own against the grown men. Probably one of the best investments I have made sending him to ASP next to him going the SuperSport United Soccer Schools
Nicholas Mabaso has been training with ASP as part of his Soccer fitness training for some time, the peripheral result has been that not only has his Soccer fitness improved but as an athlete he has shown amazing strength. He has achieved his school Colours for athletics a surprise for him and a proud moment for his family. We owe ASP coach Kenneth and Sean a huge thank you for the knowledge they have imparted giving the children the know-how to use their strength wisely.
