Beautiful location of the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean bedrooms and linen. However more attention needs to be given to clean the bathrooms, shower and the mould in the bathroom ceiling. It would be nice to have changed new neat curtains. Breakfast buffet is always exceptional but dinner menu needs revision to include a variety of new healthy dishes.
The place is ok, under the circumstances...nothing to write home about. The staff is friendly and the place is kept very clean. It is quiet all day and through out the night. No Gym/Fitness centre. The rooms have a bar fridge, but make sure you bring along your own drinking water.
Looking forward to a good night's sleep after a long, hot of day travelling. Hotel failed to tell me that there was a stock car race on right next door. Plus hotel was full of drunk and loud people. No phone in room so had to use cell to call reception 3 x. It was past 3.30 a.m. before I actually got some sleep due to the noise! The restaurant staff were lovely but unfortunately they could not make up for a night of no sleep and disturbance.
We had the absolute worst experience trying to have lunch here. Randal, the waiter, took our order. We had him read it back to us to ensure he had it right. We waited an hour before our food arrived. Randal in the meantime finished his shift and did not hand over properly to the next person. When the food arrived there were 2 coffees and one meal missing. There were no cutlery or condiments on the table yet. The chips were cold. The burger patty was not cooked through and some of the calamari was raw. The salad looked really limp. Godi, the chef, did not seem to care. The bill showed all the items we ordered in stead of what we had received. The only positive was the manager when we went to complain. He made our meal complimentary to make up for it. We have had meals at some of the other hotels in the group and they were good. The one in Kakamas is outstanding!
Pro's Fantastic location, beautiful scenery, neat, clean and quiet. Lots of parking. The schnitzel was amazing! Staff was really friendly. Con's Im a animal lover but a slobbering dog in the restaurant begging for food is a no no.Lots of items on menu not available. Our neighbors room door struggled to open and close, so they left it open very early in the morning and it kept beeping till I got up, went outside and closed it myself.
This was my home far away from home. It was really nice to stay as the staff, hospitality, rooms, food and services was excellent. I would like to thank all at Springbok Inn for making me feel so at home.
Pretty good hotel at least for one night. But breakfast was awful organized. In spite it's buffet format, we had to ask almost each dish to be brought/added. The same for plates, cups and cutleryRooms: 5/5
Springbok Inn is very welcoming the staff is great, the food is fresh. Here I am completing a survey from them thanking me for staying with them. Only if the other Inns I have been to would do the same. Please note that today 25/01/2023 I forgot my memory stick Red & Black in the room I was staying in Room 104. Please note the stick contains my work information, my business, information, my study information and other private Information. I just checked in @ Upington Inn and will be out on 27 morning and on 30/01/2023 I will be checking in @ Kuruman Inn checking out on 31/01/2023.
The room was fine, only issue was the tv. The screen was not clear at all. Bathroom was clean and toom set up practical. Breakfast was also great. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Rooms: 3/5
The hotel is beside the road and can be reached via a gravel road. The outside looks quite modern and the location has a nice nature feeling to it. The rooms were spacious however the architecture of the rooms is bad. For example the shower is in the bathroom together with the toilet. The sink however is in the main room together with the beds. The shower has no separation from the toilet which leads to complete flooding of the bathroom when showering for 5 minutes. Breakfast and dinner were ok. Safety: We felt safe.
