Very pleased with the sales lady we dealt with today. Bought a washing machine, microwave and table top oven. All on promotion. She knew her products.
My daughter and I went to Makro this morning and were delighted at the excellent customer service from ALL the staff we came into contact with at Makro. So nice when you are served by helpful, friendly and very pleasant personnel. THE FIVE STAR RATING IS FOR THE STAFF.
Your liquor side till operators requires a bit of training,businesses are suffering and having customers walking into your establishment is a blessing,I have same routine as a regular at this Makro,after buying my groceries I always visit the liquor to grab 1 or few .the lady who saved me today made me to regret coming there,she doesn't greet as I approach the till,she punches my Castle lite 6pack and my daughter's Fanta orange 2litres and domino's snacks,she is busy talking to other 2 staff members not focusing on serving us,she puts our items on the other side ,no offering packet or even a mere thank you,so I am done paying I asked her if she has plastic bags,her response was jus 1RAND.i had no problem at all paying for the packet but what happened here is you will not see me coming there and I do my monthly groceries there for years,and also that behavior makes the business to operate at a low capacity because people like that lady are in your business for a wrong process,you miss good turnovers because they are not passionate of their jobs.

Great customer service and sufficient parking Unfortunately I couldn't find what I was looking for, it was out of stock.
Disappointing customer service. Drove all the way for an item but it's suddenly significantly more expensive in store. The attendant insists that I should have selected "in store shopping as my option on the site". I explained that online only purchases are usually stipulated next to the item. This had no such stipulation. It also stated that it's in stock at this store. The attendant refused to listen and kept insisting it's online only and I must choose the shop in store option. this shows a serious lack of knowledge of the company website. He called for a manager who never came. I was then late for my next appointment so I just left without completing my purchase.
Tried shopping at makro springfield very very difficult and frustrating always stuff lying in rows and continous fork lift movements. Gave up eventually. No packers in store after buying groceries poor teller had to pack all by herself. Then get to exit unpack forsecurity to check. Anyway have complained many times so have Colleagues and many customers we have encountered things don't change. Go across the road and learn from Pick and Pay. Really sad. Umash
Very excellent service. The customer service representative were so helpful as I'm looking into buying appliances for my start-up business. Not really busy in during weekdays.
