Spur Overport City

Food was ok but the basting was less on steak and the ribs had harldy any meat. The kids smileys had to be sent back as they were full of oil. The mushrooms also lacked flavour.

Been there last night and we really enjoyed everything about it. The food was very tasty with very good portions. Loved their nachos, the best I've eaten. Our waitress was an absolute gem. She was on the ball and so friendly. Will definitely go there again even though it was out of our way. Very clean and neat no funny smell of cleaning detergents or old damp rags.

I went there with family for a lunch and the food was delicious. Ribs well cooked and wings were tasty. Had the electric lemonade and was not disappointed. The music was too loud in the opinion of my group and I. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids play area and high chairs for babies as well as a kids menu.

Went for iftaar a couple weeks ago, am still thinking about the excellent service we received from our waiter, Whisper! Everything was on point, his attentiveness, helpfulness, speed he brought our orders, food ready for us to break our fast. The steaks were delicious, standard fare we have come to expect from spur. I am glad a very last minute supper decision turned out so great! Many thanks to Whisper once again!

Disappointed at the smaller premises, play area, ablution facilities and eating area has been drastically reduced. Service was not fair as We waited far too long at a not so busy period however the food was great and very well prepared , hot and kids enjoyed their meals.

We loved this spur. The only issue we had was that the milkshakes marshmallows were a bit old. Also, we didn't know the area and the GPS took us outside the spur, during the evening. Parked on side of the building. Maybe they could direct one to a safer location via a sign? I would go back there if I am in the area again. Someone was having their birthday and the song was pretty good compared to some of the other spurs.

Great Spur! Best for the kids. They just need to sort their kids play ground out so it doesn't get wet when it rains.Food: 4/5

Kids had fun playing, while we enjoyed a light snack at Spur. I enjoyed the Nachos and he had some liver. The kids got really hungry playing so we got them beef burgers which they enjoyed. Service was good. The coffee was good initially, he ordered a double espresso which was delicious but cold so we sent it back, only for it to return diluted with boiling water. Eeek that was slightly disappointing. The toilets were clean which is something that tells me alot about the cleanliness at the establishment. Kid-friendliness: Super Family friendly

Alwys service with a smile. Asked for extra cheese on the nachos it was done, however they forgot the sour cream. Steaks were requested medium , they were served to us well done. Place is alwys clean. Play room attendant needs to be more attentive tho so don't leav ur very little ones alone.

I've never eaten good food at any Spur, been to one in Cape Town too. Lack of flavor, Veg is 'dead', chicken always hard, food doesn't even smell good. Perhaps non-halal branches serve better food, but this is my experience at halal ones. Service & cleanliness is good.
