Squirrel's Nest Lodge

Not very happy as the waiter booked meals on my room number. Our company has got a 3 months contract coming up. I am positive that I don't want to go back there unless they fire that waiter for his mistake. In my career should I make a small mistake, this will lead to an instant dismissal. I took photos of the room just before I left

Must be thé worse place I've ever stayed at. Very poor tv reception, only sport channels. No hot water. Aircons not working. Staff and management has very bad attitudes, despite you talking nice and being patient with them. Rather go to the Park Hotel just up the road thru town, they have never disappoint in our 50 years.

The place certainly went a bit down hill. But none the less, kids enjoy it a lot. There's a relaxed,calm atmosphere. Tables with shade near the kids playing. I don't think the sand for the play area gets treated/cleaned.Always concerned about that.

We enjoyed our stay there. The the rooms are nice but the bathrooms and wardrobes need to be updated. The food is delicious. beautiful landscape, pool, animals and playground. Definitely going backRooms: 3/5

I like it here. Nice outside sitting. Music was to load but after requesting it was in order. Great staff. Swimming pool for stayover guests. Love the farm atmosphere. Reasonable pricing on food and liquor

My children loves this place

What a surprise, stopped for a quick lunch and stayed for much longer than we planned. Very neat wooden tables under a tree for outside seating. There is a play area for kids and some small animals and duck for kids entertainment to look at. There is also a swimming pool for the summertime months. That food was also great, the burgers juicy and full of flavour, the tramazini also looked quite impressive. There is a proper bar if you want to sit and watch rugby and have a cold beer in a cold glass! I would definitely recommend!
