I am Catholic and I haven't been to st Mary for a long time and when I went there for a funeral it was awesome to sit and feel the ambience and look at the beautifull stain glass windows an jst feel good in church
I've attended St Mary of the Angels for about 25 years. It's one of the oldest catholic churches in Cape Town at 85yrs old. There are two masses services every Sunday at 8am & 10:30am. There's also a mass at 17:30pm on Saturdays , for those who can't make it for sundays. The parish community is very close knit. There's a big Hall that caters for funeral gatherings , weddings & birthday celebrations.
I have been a member of ST. MARY OF THE ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH ATHLONE for the past 9 years. What a lovely Parish. All the groups ministries are very active, and i am extremely happy in this Parish. The parishioners are very humble and kind. ST. MARY OF THE ANGELS PARISHIONERS are here for one thing, and that is to PRAISE AND GLORIFY GODS HOLY NAME!! And THAT you will see in the different Ministries. Feel free to visit our Parish, and be part of this wonderful family, sharing in THIS AWESOME HOLY MASS !!! Prayer. Friendly people, beautiful singing. Mass times its always full. It feels like joining a choir when the conversation sings. Friendly priest too
